US World Class Taekwondo opened with a vision to empower people through Martial Arts. Much of our school's success is due to our modern approach and a high standard of teaching with our instructors. We are a family owned school, offering Taekwondo classes for children and adults. We teach Taekwondo as a defensive and competitive martial art.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial arts that teaches more than physical fighting skills. The name Taekwondo means "The way of the foot and the fist". It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it is a global sport that has gained an international reputation.
These belts represent the knowledge and experience of a dedicated Taekwondo student. After studying the forms and skills taught in Taekwondo for some time, your instructor might deem you ready to test for the next belt rank. During these tests you display the knowledge and mastery of Taekwondo you have gained up to that point.
Family is an important part of Taekwondo here at our Dojang. As a family owned business, we strive to create a friendly environment for all our students. Many of our students train with their family members and progress towards their goal of Black Belt together. Children and adults can both enjoy what Taekwondo has to offer.
Are you between the ages of 4 to 7? Then our Tiny Tiger class is the class for you! This unique class is designed with the younger crowd in mind. With small student to teacher ratios and an engaging environment, this class will have the kids in your life grinning. My son and I have been taking classes here for over a year now. We had previously been for many years at another school that, while initially seemed like a great place, over time it became very very obvious that it was not a good fit for us. USWC Hillsboro is a great place to learn TKD, they will make sure you have the tools to learn the sport correctly and safely while pushing you to constantly improve. It's been a wonderful change to have instructors that pay attention to you as an individual, and target what you need instead of only pushing the whole class along as a single unit. We love this TKD school! What a great thing to be able to learn this sport in such a supportive, awesome, CHALLENGING but safe environment. We came here from another school a little over a year ago, the difference has been night and day. You are pushed hard and expected to work but...and this is so important, they give you the tools you need and the confidence to do it. Instructors are up to date on current standards of the sport, they take the time to make sure your technique is good and that you are really mastering what you learn. Our son had spent about 5-years at another Taekwondo school in the area, but after a while we decided to try another one.
Thankfully, we found this school right away, based on a recommendation. The Masters at US World Class Taekwondo could not be friendlier. The Masters here present a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They truly want my son to succeed, and he has been doing so much better since coming to this school, whereas he had begun to stagnate at the last.

We looked around the Hillsboro area and this place by far seemed the best. I’ve watched my son grow in confidence, coordination, and ability to focus. He’s even begun excelling at school. AND he thoroughly enjoys the sport! This place is run by a very personable family and you won’t find black belts and instructors on ego trips. Every student is trained well and receives personal attention. This is a fantastic Taekwondo school. All of the instructors have a deep love for the sport and have been doing it for many many years. The space is much larger than your average school, with plenty of equipment for students to use. There is even a small selection of weight machines and exercise bikes. There are full locker rooms, so nobody is hogging the bathroom just to get dressed, and two different waiting room areas for family to watch your class. Plenty of parking and an easy to find location. I highly recommend this location to anybody interested in taking classes.
