We practice traditional Taekwon-Do in an environment that allows people of varying ages, fitness levels and abilities to excel and have fun. We pride ourselves on our family friendly and energetic atmosphere. Since 1983, Kim's Taekwo-Do of Forest Grove has helped change the lives of hundreds of students by teaching respect, control, confidence and discipline of oneself.
Our classes are taught by experienced black belts that have dedicated themselves to propelling the art. Our class schedules are designed to allow a student to practice regularly throughout the week.

Our school is associated with Kim's United Taekwondo-Karate Centers. Today, instructors and students continue his legacy through the practice of traditional taekwondo.
All new students will attend the Beginners Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. You can register for a one FREE week. The schedule is regularly updated. The first class you will meet the instructors and sign paperwork. We will go really slow during the first couple classes and be sure to teach you the basic moves and terminology.

I've been a student of Kim's TKD, and the Tesdals (who own and run this school) for nearly 3 decades. They have taught hundreds of students over their four decades in teaching taekwondo, and have produced dozens of black belt students in that time.
Mr. Tesdal is a retired public school teacher and is wonderful when it comes to working with and teaching children.
The cadre of instructors that assist in teaching all do their best to ensure each student succeeds. The Tesdals promote not only the physical skills learned with taekwondo, but also stress academic success, respect, and self motivation
