I went to Raphael's Salon after googling "hair color specialist". After going to two stylists and having failed attempts at getting my hair done in the cut, color and style I wanted, I was so thrilled at the outcome of my hair with Raphael! I was confident in his abilities and absolutely amazed at his skills at color. He knew exactly what I wanted and I only had to talk to him and explain what I wanted and it was hair magic! I can't wait to go again and I'd recommend him to all of my friends and family!

I am glad this place is closed. They purchased the front cover of our bi-weekly magazine and then refused to finish payment AFTER we published.
I question Raphael's integrity. He refused to ever meet or even speak to us about it.
We have no idea how or why he could justify making us write, layout, produce, print and distribute his cover story in four cities without full payment.

I love Raphael's salon! I've lived in the desert for about 4 years and THIS IS THE ONLY SALON that I trust with my hair. Ive seen numerous clients come in and LOVE their hair coming out and I'm one of them! Raphael wasn't in town this time, but I had the most amazing man cut my hair! Raphael's is the hidden gem of Palm Springs and the greater Coachella Valley. Raphael owns and operates the hippest, freshest and most friendly Salon, East of Hollywood (in my humble opinion). He offers every service any head of hair could need, and delivers those services at a level matched by few.

Although I had a good foot massage, they did not want to give me change when I paid. The cost was $30 for an hour foot massage , I gave attendant $40 and he pocketed it and said no change, it's tip... a40% tip? Outrageous...I demanded I get change, then gave him the appropriate 20% tip. Won't be back.

I came to Raphael's Salon for a total transformation cut and color, and LOVED the work they did. I am so happy and excited about my new look!!! Sara and Raphael worked together as a great team and they really took care of me. The salon is very welcoming, comfortable, and clean. The staff (Sara and Raphael) is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL they were very knowledgeable, they really know what they are doing. I highly recommend Raphael's Salon!!

He did such a lovely job! He really helped me find a style of updo that was flattering and perfect for the wedding I attended! Definitely visit this salon if you want to rock a beautiful- do!

Christina is amazing. I have been a customer of Christina for the past 6 years! She knows color, she knows how to do a short hair cut and she is very knowledgeable with products! Would not survive without her! Highly recommend her!

I have been frequenting Raphael's for years. If you want to look like a film star...he is your man! Not to mention he really cares about his clients. He actually saved my life...he found a spot on my scalp that turned out to be stage 2 melanoma cancer. After surgery the doc's told me I was a very lucky guy that Raphael found it when he did or I may have died. There are just some things you cannot see yourself, let your stylist help!

Was a short notice walk-in. Very nice location on strip. I did 30 minute full body, since I have never had one. I instantly felt better and relaxed.

Can't beat the price! They know what their doing...feels so good. This is my favorite way to reward myself.

I called spoke with Raphael (he was very polite) made an appointment to come in the same day. I came in the place has been remodeled the Decor is beautiful. Fernando did my hair and did a fabulous job. I will definitely be coming back.

I have never had such a bad experience in a hair salon such as this.

Fist off, I went in for just a quick consultation because I had a budget and made that clear. I needed to get my hair colored and cut. Without discussing the price, my stylist just began doing my hair. I was not prepared to actually do my hair that day. The process took over 6 HOURS for a simple trim and ombre coloring. The stylist literally back combed my whole head and then put the color in it. Not only that but when he went to wash my hair, he began to comb through my hair, with the product still in it, with a fine tooth

My bad experience started at check in. I gave the woman at the front desk my name to check in and a women (I am assuming she was a customer) ran over to me and loudly stated OMG your the one getting the Brazilian?!? I was shocked that this woman knew the service that I was there to receive and even more shocked that she felt the need to announce it to the entire salon. VERY unprofessional!

The esthetician was very nice and she def. made me fell comfortable, but she gave me the WORST Brazilian wax I have ever had. I ask her to leave my landing strip and after getting up from the table I noticed
