Delaware Senior Olympics
Since then, Delaware has held annual games beginning in August through October and has seen phenomenal growth. In 1993, we had 160 athletes who competed in 11 sports. During our last qualifying year, we had 1100 athletes competing in 29 sports, and 1200 members. Some 334 senior athletes represented Delaware in Hampton Roads, almost triple the number which competed in Tucson in 1997.

Delaware athletes have done well in national competition, earning 6 gold medals, 1 silver, 1 bronze and 10 ribbons in 1997 and increased that performance at Orlando in 1999 with 7 gold medals, 4 silver, 6 bronze, and 24 ribbons! A total of 208 Delawareans competed in the 2001 games in Baton Rouge and earned 2 gold medals, 7 silver, 10 bronze and 28 ribbons.
Services
Help us achieve our mission to promote healthy lifestyles and fitness for senior adults through competitive and non-competitive athletic activities. Your generous donation is tax deductible. This link will take you directly to smile.amazon.com in support of DSO so you won't have to search for DSO among almost a million other organizations.
The Delaware Senior Olympics is grateful for the ongoing support of our Friends. Without their support, the Delaware Senior Olympics would not be able to continue its mission to promote healthy lifestyles and fitness for Senior Adults through competitive and non-competitive athletic activities.

These funds are received as additional amounts along with the athlete's games registration, as individual donations to the Annual Games Souvenir Book, as designated contributions via United Way or as direct contributions to DSO.
Delaware Senior Olympics (DSO) is a volunteer, not for profit, and only Delaware organization that offers programs and activities for seniors that are focused on healthy aging and quality of life. These include Walk Delaware, Senior Group Challenge, and organized athletics highlighted by our annual games.
By becoming a member of Delaware Senior Olympics (hereafter "DSO") and participating in any DSO activities, I agree to abide by all rules and regulations established by DSO and I recognize that by participating in these activities, there is risk of injury.

By registering or participating, the registrant/participant understands that individual health, accident, and/or liability insurance is not provided for Delaware Senior Olympics events and agrees to adhere to program rules.
Would you help us please by joining a growing list of Membership Supporters in providing an incentive which we will include with memberships. Seniors will be advised of available incentives when solicited for membership. When they join they will be provided current incentive information and will be encouraged to regularly check our website for new information.
