Services
Little Zion Preschool has been in operation for over thirty years, educating generations of local families!. Our students are easily recognized by local elementary schools as well prepared and ready for continued academic success. The curriculum at Little Zion Preschool is based on the CT ELDs and alines with the local public schools.
A large predictor of a child's success in Kindergarten is their social skill set. In our Threes' program we are helping children work in small groups, build sharing skills and grow their confidence in a school setting. This is done through modeling conflict resolution, supporting group work and encouraging independent skills.
The area of physical science includes magnets, mass, motion, light and dark as well as much more. Students explore physics and construction by building their own houses from different building materials to test which house would be the most sturdy. Measurement is taught with standard and non-standard units of measure.
We are proud to announce the new Enrichment Club programs at Little Zion Preschool. These clubs offer children who are interested in different topics a fun, educational club experience to build their knowledge in an age friendly way. Each club has hands on activities and a greater theme focus then we can provide in a typical day.
Each day your child will be greeted by their teacher who is eager to provide new experiences, engage in learning and be a lasting part of your child's academic and emotional growth.
