From courteous parking lot security to prompt and professional check-in, to a spotless room with a magnificent view of downtown, this hotel offers the best value for your dollars with quality, comfort and the personal touch. Everyone on staff is helpful and friendly and eager to make your stay feel like "home." Don't miss the Cardinal Crossing Café in the lobby area which offers an Everything Breakfast all day...for $5.00. Frequently, entertainment is offered in the ballrooms. We enjoyed R and B, rock 'n roll and gospel during our stay.

Spent two nights at this hotel. It was the cheapest one we could find online. Right next to the highway. We had great service. Parking lot attached. A la carte breakfast available as well. Close to downtown and the east side attractions. The place feels like it's out of the 70s with older aesthetics and appliances. Also no luck in navigating the website. Happy to have stayed here

DO NOT STAY HERE
I stayed her a few months ago and it was one of the worst things I have ever done! The hotel also is a church that houses homeless and a womens shelter. We stopped on a random floor to see if they had a drink machine and it had caution tape and we could see needles on the table. it is a very scary place to be

Went for a wedding reception and it was nice. The only issue I have with having something there is that I noticed there was a covid floor. The elevator kept stopping on that floor and no one on the elevator pushed that floor. That floor should have been skipped (blocked out by management). There should be one elevator only that should be used for people on that floor.
But it was a BEAUTIFUL view from the 12th.

The staff is well mannered & very polite. Always willing to help out with whatever you need. Weather it's on campus with clean liens or off campus with directions to the lovely city of Louisville ky where it calls home, downtown in the business district. The city of Louisville is a warm & friendly place to visit & with Hotel Louisville right downtown with its big white cross towering over the Louisville skyline it is a hard place to miss.
Me & my family plan on coming back again soon and you can guarantee that Hotel Louisville will be the first stop on our list, so we can make sure we make the

I knew this was going to be the placed we were staying in when the front desk assistant, Will picked up the phone. He literally made our stay feel like we were coming home. The Hotel is an older building so it felt like i went back in time staying there. All the staff were nice and helpful. They serve free breakfast in the mornings thats actually worth getting up early for. They have $5 buffet styled lunch and a full dinner menu with prices so cheap its a ridiculous. The food is delicious here. Like somebody momma is back there sprinkling love on everything.

Well, it looked way nicer online. I wasn't aware it was a halfway house either for recovering attics. It was clean , secured with security guard in the parking area. It has 12 floors, coffee shop, 2 ball rooms, breakfast area. It just wasn't my taste. Get your money worth. I won't return. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bathtub was broken. Had one light in the whole room & had to ask for new towels.

I thought that I was getting a great deal on a downtown hotel for less than $100.00 per night. When I drove up I found a security guard and a fenced in parking lot. Which is a good thing because it is located in a not so good neighborhood. When I checked in every thing went ok everyone was very nice. The decor is a bit dated the rooms were functional. The free breakfast was decent. The staff was very friendly. I was a bit concerned to see a sign on the door that stated to lock your door with a dead bolt an use the chain when in your room. Later I found out that the hotel is partially as a homeless

I wasn't sure about the hotel when I first drove up. There is a guard at the entrance to the parking lot which is surrounded by a fence. The hotel is definitely in an older building in a somewhat sketchy part of downtown, but inside the hotel was decorated nicely and the room we had was clean. I didn't feel threatened while at the hotel. I didn't have any issues checking in and the clerk was nice. The breakfast had a lot of different options. The cooks had a hard time keeping hot items available, but the food was good. The hotel hosts dancing events on the weekends sometimes

When pulling up my grandmother was hesitant about staying here, but once inside we felt very welcomed. It's an old building and back in the day was probably the highlight of the city. Our room was clean! The bedding seemed to be new and was very comfy; I loved the pillows on my bed; should have found out the brand so I can buy them. We overslept the free breakfast, but I glad it was part of the room.

Friend of mine was staying here and I came by to pick up my things for the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon in the morning. I was bounced by folks in the lobby unless I would wake him up at 2am and make him come down to the lobby and give them my drivers license. Uh, no. I'm not sure they understand that they are in a hospitality business.

HORRIBLE!!!
This hotel doubles as transitional housing for the homeless, displaced and drug rehabs-- so you will see this loitering around.
They charge a surprise $100 deposit, for this Bates Hotel.
No early checkin, before 4pm,a laundry list of rules... apparently they do not want to make the transients feel uncomfortable by the paying customers. This place has not been renovated since the early 90s and it smells like it. And I can honestly say, the female desk agent on Friday 11/23, was the absolute most rude employee I have ever come across in my years of travel.

My rating is a hybrid of its potential versus real world expectations. For what Hotel Louisville is, it's a five star rating. If you compare it to the Omni's, Marriott's and Ritz's of the world, it's obviously a one or two, here's my experience though. Their check-in/check-out(computers?) infrastructure is archaic and it hampers them, but what it means to the customer is just having a little patience. The employees are not your typical polished hotel hospitality grads but what they do is try hard, and while doing it they smile. The rooms could use some TLC but if the

The hotel is perfect if you are just needing a place to stay as you are driving through. It is just a room to sleep with no extras but that was ok with us. The continental breakfast is cereal and bread items only. You can order off the menu if you like. Everyone was very friendly here. We had a mess up with our room at first but they apologized and got us another room with two beds.
