Pearls with a twist. Our alligator clasp adds an unexpected surprise to classic baroque pearls. Modeled on a vintage original, the clasp is cast and plated by artisan workshops in Rhode Island. All of our metal parts are plated with 24kt gold or sterling silver. They are finished with a variety of materials to increase durability~ including e-coat, lacquer, and hand antique.
The original parts, however, come from many places and from tools that have been in use for decades. Given that, a range of finishes (brightness, darkness, etc.) is to be expected, and in fact is part of what makes JW/MA unique! Our chain bracelets have a standard length of 7 34 -8 12, this measurement is end to end- including the lobster claw and end rings.

The bidding was fierce, but John was determined, investing thousands of dollars to ultimately claim the chandelier from Suite 33H, an antique Chinese ginger jar, pillows, trims, even Playbills of historic Broadway shows that guests left behind. Chandelier crystals that once sparkled in New York's Plaza Hotel, now reinvented as modern jewels~ The equestrian Gucci Chain links set a classic tone; the mix of materials adds a little whimsy.

John was recently invited to shop the decades-old inventory of a well-known fashion jewelry company. He picked out these awesome chains which are both unique and beautiful! We then had them heavily gold or silver plated to create new Modern Vintage heirlooms. Genuine vintage designer scarves are re-purposed as the centerpieces of this luxe collection.
Inspired by classic signet rings, which were originally worn as a sign of stature. Today they still serve as a form of ID, but with a little more fashion in the mix. Ordered the Sorority Cotton Pearl bracelet and the cotton ball started cracking until it eventually just came apart. Tried calling to find out about a warranty (purchased about 6 months ago) and Brandon was impolite, abrupt, and disconnected the phone while I was still talking!! Needless to say I will NOT be purchasing from this company again.
