Broke my tooth... worst feeling ever! I was in a lot of pain and I was worried about where to go and who to see.. I found Smiles by Design of the google , super stoked! They took me in right away and few hours later my tooth was fixed! I am super stoked! Now I am a patient there, and I don't have to worry about where to go anymore. 5 stars!

From start to finish, the staff was amazing, courteous and competent. My hygienist took the time to explain how I can improve (can’t we all?) brushing techniques and what to focus on, since I am not the best flosser... It was a very positive experience, and I’ll follow-up. We all know that good dentists can be hard to find, but this was a great one.

Dr Mac and Charisse are quick, caring and knowledgeable! My boyfriend went in to take care of two teeth, he hasn't been to the dentist in 8 years out if the fear of the dentist and of cost. Not only were the cost super reasonable, but most importantly you get what you pay for- THE BEST! Charisse makes you feel so at easy and is a great communicator when it comes to simplifying the procedure so we could understand. She was also super attentive to detail throughout the whole process. Dr. Mac has a great sense of humor with his patients, was quick and thorough and he's just great at what he does!

Wow - that's how I would sum up my experience at McElroy. From the front desk receptionist Christina who was helpful and kind and was able to squeeze me in even though I was a new patient but in pain, to Maddie who took the history and was caring, empathetic and made me comfortable to Dr Austin who was informative, efficient and quite adept at fixing my issue. It was my first experience needing a root canal and crown and they made it seamless and pain free!! I even met Dr. McElroy as well who was friendly and affable. They made the whole dental experience smooth, their first priority was my comfort

I had a very nice initial visit. For my new patient appointment the front desk lady gave me a small tour of the office and everyone was very kind. Staff are very attentive and doctor made sure to give me in detail what needed to be done. Had a pleasant visit and felt like they took very good care of me.

WOW! So impressed with McElroy Smiles By Design! An easy to find Dental office in Encinitas with plenty of free parking. The staff went above and beyond to make my visit as comfortable and enjoyable as it can possibly go. Dr. McElroy was very attentive and extremely gentle with my exam. I felt very well taken care of and I am looking forward to my next dental appointment for a better smile!
