Services
The Forge Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) program is for children ages 4 to 13 and NO prior experience is necessary. Our martial arts curriculum incorporates sport grappling and self-defense skills. The focus is to develop fitness, discipline and self-confidence in a fun, safe and family friendly environment.
Krav Maga is the official self-defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces and has been adopted by and taught to many federal and state law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, US Marshal Service, DEA and US Secret Service, and now has been adapted for civilian use. Krav Maga takes a simple, no-nonsense and realistic approach to personal safety and is an ideal self-defense solution for men and women of all ages and physical abilities.
Great gym with an amazing atmosphere for beginners. They also bring in lots of talent for seminars so it's an ideal place to start your journey into martial arts! Went to The Forge BJJ academy while on vacation in Oklahoma. Professor Harper and Professor Lowry are awesome instructors. Most importantly everyone there welcomed me with open arms which made training there an awesome experience for me.

I was a little nervous taking my first Krav Maga class, but the instructor Jaime was awesome. I really liked everything about it. Jaime made me feel welcome and was very encouraging. The gym is not what I thought it would be, so many nice people.

We enrolled our children at The Forge a little over 6 months ago and are very happy with the experience. There are a number of available options for children to attend class Mon-Thursday, as well as a new Homeschool program opening for students on Wednesday and Friday during the day. The coaches are informed, friendly, and patient with all of the kids. Our family enjoys multiple classes a week, and the playroom that’s available for younger children is a huge bonus.
My husband and I also attend classes during the week. Coach JP runs the womens class on Monday and is a great instructor who makes

When I went, they were extremely welcoming and helpful. They care about every individual and want to see you grow. The classes were fun, often laid back, and filled with everything you need to become great at Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

I trained with Professor Harper while he was at Lovato's BJJ for about a year or so. I always loved his Sunday class. He is incredibly technical and breaks each step down, slowly and patiently, to make sure everyone understands. One of the nicest people I've met and a great instructor.

I've had the opportunity to train at several Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies and I can tell you that the training at Edmond United is second to none. If you are looking for a fun form of exercise to beat the intimidating monotony of a "regular" gym, then this is the place for you. Not only will you find those abs you forgot you had but you will also learn useful self defense skill!

I've trained with head instructor Robert Harper for many years and highly recommend he and United Martial Arts for anyone wanting to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or martial arts for self defense. Harper has earned his reputation as a conscientious and highly technical instructor in the years he was assistant instructing at Lovato's BJJ. Rates are very reasonable and there are no contracts, hassles or high pressure sales.
