Sourcepoint Acupuncture
We are currently seeing a chronic pain epidemic across this country. Acupuncture is a safe, effective, and drug-free treatment for most pain conditions such as TMJ, back, neck, and shoulder pain, and fibromyalgia. Acupunture stimulates the body's own pain-relieving mechanisms and is part of the solution to today's chronic pain edpidemic.

At his Seattle acupuncture office Robert has helped thousands of clients recover from injuries sustained at work, in motor vehicle accidents, and from athletic activities. Acupuncture can reduce pain and inflammation associated with injuries, broken bones, and surgery and speed rehabilitation and recovery time.
Services
Acupuncture is a safe and effective holistic system of healing originating from China that has been practiced for over two thousand years. By inserting very fine needles into specific points on the body, acupuncture activates the innate qi (life force) and helps the body to heal itself in a holistic and natural way.
Ankle sprains are one of the common common sports injuries across many different kinds of sports activities. Once sprained a weakened ankle can become prone to continued sprains and strains. Fortunately Acupuncture excels in the treatment of acute ankle sprain and also chronic ankle pain. A series of 5-10 sessions can often result in reducing pain and acute inflammation and dramatically speeding recovery time.
Anxiety is a state of fear and/or worry that can impede our daily functioning and cause significant symptoms that effect our health. Some anxiety is a normal part of living in the modern world, but chronic anxiety that causes symptoms such as irritability, insomnia, muscle tension and pain and many other symptoms, is a serious health issue that requires treatment.
Back pain is one of the most common issues treated by acupuncture. Low back pain can have a wide variety of causes such as sports injuries, heavy lifting and common muscle strain, muscle tightness and compression causing disk herniation and nerve compression as well as stress, life challenges and emotional distress.
Acute and/or chronic Fatigue and Exhaustion are common issues I see in my Seattle Acupuncture clinic. This can be due to stress, overwork or over training in sports and working out. It can be due to lack of sleep or an imbalance on the Adrenal Gland or Thyroid Gland. In some cases a low grade viral infection such as Epstein/Barr Syndrome, or Post Viral malaise may be part of the problem.

It has taken getting treated from Robert to finally make me a believer in acupuncture. Over the past 20 years, I have tried it 3 different times from 3 different practioners with zero success. When the arthritis pain in my knees became so bad, something told me to give Robert at Sourcepoint a chance as I was referred to him by a friend. I went in quite skeptical but also open to the possibility that it might help. To my surprise and delight, after the 2nd - 3rd visit, the reduction in pain was quite noticable & it just kept improving. The added bonus to the treatments was that I felt like

I had been trying massage and chiropractic treatments for months minimal results. I felt a lot better after just one acupuncture treatment from Robert. I wish I'd "discovered" him a lot sooner.

Robert Weinstein is one of the best acupuncturists I've ever come across. I would recommend Robert for any kind of ailment, from back pain to PTSD. He's especially skilled at treating highly sensitive individuals, which I find to be rare among acupuncturists. My own system is extremely sensitive, and that makes me hard to treat. But Robert himself is a grounding, calming person, and his treatments invariably bring me great relief. He clearly puts thought into trying to understand how my system works, and his technique is subtle but highly effective. I highly recommend him. I've been

I have had 4 concussions in 2 years and am legally disabled from them. I have tried a whole bunch of different PT, medications, doctors, etc. and nothing really helped much until I discovered acupuncture.

Robert came recommended to me by someone else with a head injury and she said he helped the most. I am happy to say that the same is also true for me. After 4-5 visits I started seeing dramatic improvement and have been improving steadily since.

I highly recommend Sourcepoint if you are having any issue at all.

Best Accupuncture I've ever had. Period. I was in a car accident in 2011 and have tried about 6-7 different people and went to Robert because he is located near me. I was impressed because after one treatment I was better.

I have permanent back injuries , sleep, and anxiety issues and each treatment continues to make me feel better in each respective category.

His style is Japanese Accupuncture and he is easy to talk to, extremely knowledgable, and very grounded.

Do yourself a favor and book and appt with Robert. Namasté.

Over the course of a few years I had seen several health professionals for ongoing issues that didn't seem to be clearing up. Remarkably, Robert was able to successfully correct a variety of these problems after just a few treatments -- including adrenal fatigue, asthma, knee pain and skin problems. I was surprised that acupuncture could work for so many different symptoms. Robert often uses a gentle, painless acupuncture technique that does not require needle insertion. With a combination of acupuncture and western and Chinese herbal medicine Robert has been able to make great improvements in

Highly recommended! I have seen Robert for some time now and I can recommend him wholeheartedly. I have had chronic lower back problems for many years. Pain that is usually aggravated by business travel. Initially, I was skeptical about trying acupuncture but the proof is in the pudding. I felt almost immediate relief and my lower back pain is basically gone. I now come for "maintenance" visits once every two months to make sure that I stay pain free and comfortable.

I've had chronic, acute low back pain for over 10 years. I've tried pretty much everything short of surgery. I started going to Robert Weinstein 3 months ago. My back pain has improved by 95%! I was able to eliminate the mega-doses of Tylenol I was taking for pain.

I've also been working with Robert on incorporating some herbal remedies to help with my asthma and hay fever. I've been able to reduce the usage of a cortico-steroid inhaler I take for asthma, and have reduced the dosage of some other medications I use for my upper respiratory allergies.

Robert Weinstein is thoroughly unprofessional in his behavior and in his communication. For example, as I was laying face down on the treatment table, he unhooked my bra (instead of simply asking me to take off my bra before he came in, as every other professional working on my back has done), which is both inappropriate and invasive. Additionally, instead of getting consent for this, he says, "And now I'll unhook your bra..." This is just creepy, for lack of a better word.

As for communication difficulties, he was arrogant and rude to me when I told him his professional recommendations

I came to Robert with what appeared to be an acute case of tendonitis in both my elbows. The pain was rather severe, preventing me from enjoying my regular physical activities for several weeks. Surprisingly, in ONE treatment, the pain completely disappeared and since then hasn't returned! What sets Robert apart from other acupuncturists in the city is his gentle needling style and remarkable precision in diagnosing and treating dis-ease.

After a year of debilitating lower back pain, I felt like I was running out of options. I was skeptical that Chinese medicine could possibly help me feel better, but I had nothing to lose and everything to gain, so I decided to try acupuncture.

It was a difficult first step...both literally and figuratively...but I'm sure glad I visited Robert. Before my first treatment, Robert informed me that it would likely take 5-6 sessions to properly treat my injury, and expected a 60-70% improvement in my condition after that time. Beyond that, he suggested a wait-and-see approach, but mentioned

I’ve read so many good reviews of Robert, that I decided to schedule a session. I had right knee pain going on 4 weeks and having tried other natural therapies to no avail, I was eager to see what he could
Do. On our first visit, Robert placed 3 hyper thin acupuncture needles around my knee (which didn’t hurt a bit when inserted). He then used a “non-insertion” type of needle to work on other related acupuncture points. The first thing I noticed was not an immediate reduction in knee pain, but a noticeable decrease in my anxiously beating heart. (I admit, I was somewhat anxious seeing

Robert is incredibly knowledgable, incredibly friendly, and incredibly professional. I went in for treatment of allergies and lower back pain. I left breathing easier and feeling much better. Robert also recommended some herbs to boost my overall health. I felt like his goal was to keep me healthy, not just treat me when I'm feeling bad. Definitely going to be a regular visit for me!

After a series of treatments, I feel noticeable improvement in my neck and shoulders. The energetic balancing he does is a great overall benefit.

I went to see Robert for a running injury that I had while training for my marathon. My hip was causing me a lot of pain after 6 miles. I was amazed at how much better I felt after one treatment! We continued to work on the problem and I am happy to say that my hip feels amazing and I finished my marathon.

What is different about Robert is that he does a very gentle Japanese version of acupuncture, and really takes the time to get to know you.

I would recommend Robert as a great acupuncturist.

Full disclosure - this was my first acupuncture treatment, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but...

I'm probably the most needle-phobic person you'll ever meet. Seriously. I went to the dentist once for a filling and the guy tried to give me a local anesthetic - one look at the needle and he had to stop. He had to use a general. I'm also not completely with 'alternative' medicine. And after all that...

I'm a changed man. This was the first of what I hope will be many treatments with Robert at Source Point.

The treatment started with about a 15 minute
