This was my first experience using Master European to work on one of my cars. After taking my car to 2 other shops that were unable to fix my AC problem, I was advised (by the second shop which specializes in air conditioner repair) to try Master European. From start to finish, all of my interactions with these guys were friendly, informative, and professional. I went here today and it was my third time going, still haven’t paid a dime. All three times very different issues. They are great at listening to your issue and then giving you options. I fully expected to hand them money each time and each time they said hey try this and if it doesn’t work bring it back and we will take a look. You won’t find many places more worried about people over money. If I ever do need an actual repair I will 100% go here because their honesty is above all. I've used these guys for years with my Minis and Subaru and every repair has been handled with pure professionalism, honesty and care. They have never over-sold or recommended anything that was not needed. Ruben and Junior communicate well to explain as they go and it is obvious that they genuinely care about their customers. Master mechanics are everywhere, but Master care involves much more than swapping parts and turning wrenches.

I had just driven my car here from North Carolina and had a weird squeaking noise coming from the front right area. the car is a 2006 BMW X5 that I had just bought and I wanted to make sure it wasn't something that would break down before I had a chance to take it back to North Carolina. he was very honest and explaining what had gone wrong and that there wouldn't be a problem with me continuing to drive it and it would go back to North Carolina. you told me up front there would be a $50 charge to have him look at it and if I wanted the work done the $50 would be applied to the bill.

Today I went to Master European Automotive, in Universal City, TX (Station ID # 6P047749) for a state inspection. It is my belief that the events that unfolded during my experience demonstrate exactly how… terrible this company is:
Upon arrival, I was asked by the person in the front office for a copy of my insurance. Since the copy I had printed in my vehicle had recently expired, I asked if I could show him a digital copy (same insurance agent and policy number). He said that was fine and that he just needed to see it. I said no problem, just give me a few minutes to get that pulled up

Wow. Just got off the phone with Rubin from this shop and was so thoroughly impressed with the care in which he took time to guide me in making sure my new car is going to be a good one. The rates he quoted for a new vehicle inspection were excellent, and he brought up about 15 different points I didn't think of when buying a new vehicle and I've historically done all the work on my own rides so I'm super impressed with this level of expertise. This is a family owned and operated business. I took my classic 1972 Datsun 240-Z to them for major engine repairs. Parts for 44 year old foreign cars are not easy to find however they found everything that was needed. The work they performed was impeccable. These guys are real mechanics not parts changers.

Called to make an appointment and with it being the holiday season, I specifically asked if they would be open on Jan 2nd. I was told yes and to have the car there at 8:00 a.m. I was there with my ride before 8:00 and waited until 8:15. At that point, I see a man pull in his red dodge truck, park, and go into the business. It looks like the owner guy in the picture - so I go to leave my keys and the door is locked. He won't answer the phone either so we ended up leaving at 8:30 and NOT leaving the Mercedes there. Customer service is a huge pet peeve of mine so this place is a no go for me

Ladies BEWARE!! Never before have I dealt with such discourteous, unprofessional, and unknowledgeable auto repair shop. I took my car to Master European for the same coolant repair several times, each time a new part was recommended. Yesterday when I went in to ask JUNIOR (very calmly), to show me exactly where the coolant was dripping from, he basically shouted at me as if I were his enemy not a paying customer. I assume women are not supposed to challenge the folks they're paying for repair services. When I asked him to lower his voice he shouted "No, I'm upset!" before refusing
