I retained Ms.McNamara less than 24 hours ago and in less than 12 hours, she has solved what has taken over 2 years of a very contentious litigious custody battle. My ex-wife is an attorney ( yes, I am that idiot). I was pro-per (self-represented), which I do not recommend as the OC Family Courts are a "good old boy system." It's not always what you know; it's who you are and know!

Barbara is great to work with. She is an expert in Family Law & really understands our OC Court System and how to navigate it to get what she wants. She worked wonderfully with my Daughter and was extremely helpful with the child custody & alimony issues. I was most impressed with the compassion Barbara showed my Daughter during this very difficult process. Barbara made it easier and more tolerable to go through this horrible process. Barbara was a referral from a friend... I was satisfied with her service and enjoyed working with her. Divorce is one of the most difficult things for a person to go through and I appreciated having an attorney who supported and reassured me throughout the process.

Super disappointed, Barbara is either distracted or incompetent, either way, she never got up to speed in my case. She charges for everything and pays attention to nothing. Fortunately, I replaced her before she could do any damage to my case. I feel like she is more interested in her relationships with here peers (other attorneys) than she is in getting the best possible settlement for her clients.

Barbara and another family lawyer were recommended to me by a Family psychologist, after attempts to make my previous marriage work failed. I interviewed both lawyers and Barbara was my immediate choice.
She was outright clear, educated me about the process, timelines and cost. Since i was on a tight budget, she accomodated my request to make installments until the court dates kicked in. Loved that! Based on a referral, I contacted Mrs. McNamara In early 2017 to handle a case for me. After talking a big game, touting her qualifications, and collecting a large retainer, she didn't walk the walk.
Mrs. McNamara seemed distracted or disinterested in my case and filed time sensitive court documents late, or not at all.
