Professional Property Services, Ltd. is a small family company owned and operated by Cindy and Harry Van Mater, offering full service Residential Property Management and Lead Based Paint Inspections to owners and investors of residential rental properties in Frederick and Washington Counties, Maryland.
Harry has attained the (GRI) Graduate REALTORS Institute, (CRS) Certified Residential Specialist, (CRB) Certified Residential Broker and (CCIM) Certified Commercial and Investment Member real estate designations, plus REALTOR Emeritus from the National Association of REALTORS, and the (MPM) Master Property Manager and the (RMP) Residential Management Professional from the National Association Residential Property Managers (NARPM).

What do you do if the tenants are not taking care of my property or have unauthorized pets?. Why does Professional Property Services require that the properties by rekeyed and/or locks replaced for new tenants?. Maryland Law does not require property managers to be licensed by the Maryland Real Estate Commission.

I rented a home from them and my experience was fantastic. They were prompt and professional. From before we moved in up until the day we moved out they were readily available. All of my calls were answered and my emails were responded to quickly. The last month of my lease there were some COVID related issues and they were calm, collected, and kind about it. (Was very impressed with that) Overall I would trust these folks to manage a rental for me and without a doubt I would rent from them again. Thanks for the great experience Angela and Jackie!
