Full disclosure, I have never been there. However I was shown a notice that tenants received that I find appalling. Let me say, it's concerning to read something so heartless and cold! I pray for the unfortunate people that live there. Do you not know there is a crisis and that people are scared and anxious? Then you post something exceptionally condescending and threatening? Wow, just wow.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for about ten months before we had to leave due to personal issues (which Brad was very understanding about). The maintenance workers always came within a short amount of time and was able to fix what needed to be fixed. Brad was a great help whenever we had questions. My biggest complaint would be the crime in the area. There were police at the complex at least once a week for something. There were multiple shooting/stabbing incidents that were way too close for us to feel safe at the apartment. This is an issue with Key Parkway overall (and recently Frederick as

Hello Everyone: My name is Brad the new property manager here at Hickory Hill apartments in Frederick, MD. I would like to address the past reviews listed on here about our Apartment Complex. I have now been the manager for a little over 1 year here at Hickory, but have been a property manager for over 9 years, and I can say things are much different then what you may read from the past reviews. The way I run an apartment complex is that you either respect the property and the residents around you or you will not be a resident here for long. I have in one year turned over 79 units of an 162 unit

My daughter moved in here with great expectations. Her new husband's mother bought them almost $3400.00 in brand new furniture and had it shipped to them. Within 2 months they had bed bugs so bad all the furniture had to be thrown out. They also had a severe roach problem. My daughter has OCD and had a brand new baby that she stayed at home with so she was constantly wiping the walls, counters, floors, etc. down with bleach & water mix but it never helped. The pest control came sometimes and management never would be honest about the bugs there. Cheap apartments but almost all Spanish, low income

I don't even live here & have to put up with them. People have been popping fireworks outside & their repair guys or construction workers left a perfectly laid out set of cardboard underlay for walls on the grass. Today 30mph winds came in gusting at 60 mph. The cardboard is up against the fence smacking it flying into the elementary school and through the air. My husband and I at 11pm at night had to put on coats and go out in 30mph wind 40 degrees outside and pick them all up and throw them in our garbage across the complex. Get it together people.
