Dan Geller established D. Geller & Son as a wholesale company that also sold to the public in 1939 on Broad Street in Downtown Atlanta. As a wholesale company, Dan sold to companies like Rich's, Zales, and over 350 independent family owned jewelry stores all over the Southeast. D. Geller & Son is one of the South's longest standing diamond and fine jewelry companies.
The Geller family represents 14 generations and over 1,100 years in the jewelry industry. Mike Geller took over the company in 1976 when his father passed. He became apprenticed as a jeweler at the age of 7 and began working full time at 14 years old. Formerly D. Geller, " Dan added "& Son" to the name when Mike asked for a raise in 1974.

Most people who buy jewelry are only concerned about the price. Stephen and his staff including Trey at D. GELLER not only provide great buys on all kinds of jewelry and watches but back that up with after sale service. They go beyond to make sure you are happy with your purchase. They recently removed and cleaned a bracelet I had not taken off in 20 plus years.

I had a great experience at D. Geller & Son! I went in without an appointment for soldering my wedding rings (which I bought elsewhere). They were able to do the job fast, with good quality workmanship, and at a reasonable price. Their customer service team is friendly and professional. While I wasn't shopping for anything, I noticed from my brief time wandering around the store that their selection is really beautiful. I definitely recommend this place!

Located off Cobb Pkwy next to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Always greeted and helped immediately upon arrival. If not they always advise of the wait and offer drink or snacks if available. Went in a for a cleaning and a resize. Also, we picked up the jewelry within 2 business days which is very fast in my opinion. I would advise getting all the information and stipulations of your jewelry and note who you spoke with. Not a major issue but we were previously advised incorrect info when first purchasing and when we brought it up it happened to be wrong and ended up being a positive outcome. I would definitely

Francesca Garcia was stellar and so helpful in our resizing experience. She went above and beyond to help us in getting us a good price. She also invested her time in giving us so many options in looking at men's bands. She was also very pleasantly conversational and really made us feel welcome and appreciated. The pricing is middle of the road but the service apparently top notch and so we felt like we got great value! 10/10, would recommend!

I'm not ring shopping, but this spot is a few mins from the office, so they're my go-to for watch sizing. Stephen is super personable, always a pleasure to deal with, and wants to make sure I get exactly what I want when it comes to fitment. Definitely worth stopping in, whether you're shopping for something new, or getting an adjustment to something old.

My husband and I went to this shop to find our wedding bands. They were able to work with my husband to find his perfect band, they helped me design a special custom band to fit my ring AND they even cleaned my engagement ring while we were shopping. We were so, so pleased with how our rings turned out, and they cleaned and tightened the center stone on my engagement ring (which we didn't get from them) to make sure it was perfect for our big day. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, they didn't try to haggle or upsell with us. The prices were fair and the products were beautiful

We recently had my wedding ring reset at the Akers Mill location of D. Geller & Son. Stephen and Taylor went above and beyond with their assistance and expertise. I was unsure how I wanted to redesign my ring and they were patient and so easy to work with. We originally purchased my ring at D. Geller 18 years ago and had a very positive experience back then and so it was a no-brainer to go back to them. We are so pleased and can't recommend enough. Oh and my ring is beautiful!

I can't say enough about the professionalism of this store. Tiffany was my salesperson and appreciate her taking the time with me and thought she put in during my visit but also the fact that she prepared for my visit prior to me coming in. No strong salesperson tactics as you would find in most jewelry stores. No pressure to purchase that day. Just want the customer to feel comfortable and be happy with my purchase.

I went into the Cobb Parkway store and was helped by Ela who showed me different kinds of settings for my Emerald stones. The emeralds I had were a pair of earrings that I didn't wear frequently and wanted to have them reset in a ring and a pendant. Sales Manager Stephen Torres came out to assist and the outcome was amazing. I turned the rarely worn emerald earrings into three pieces of jewelry- a ring, a pendant, and another pair of earrings with diamond studs which I wear daily. I absolutely love my new jewelry! D. Geller & Son's will be getting all of my future business.

They do not stand behind their 'vendors'. Within a year, the large diamond fell out of my wedding ring. Thankfully, insurance replaced it. Then one of the small diamonds fell out of the band. This was begrudgingly replaced after they sent the ring back to Calla (the maker) and Calla agreed to replace it. Recently, the same diamond fell out -- it's a chip. Calla would not replace it (out of warranty) and it cost me $1000 to send it to Europe and have it replaced. D. Geller wouldn't cover it because their 'vendor' wouldn't cover it.

We got our wedding bands here and had an AMAZING experience. I was not looking forward to going because we had a bad experience at another another jewelry store but it was a great! Jennifer was respectful of our budget and so patient. I couldn't find a contoured band I thought was perfect (I am very picky) so she came up with the idea of having their in house jeweler bend the band I loved so it fit around my engagement ring. He did an amazing job and I am so happy with it.

Went here to get a family heirloom ring appraised. made an appointment and was helped by Douglas Flynn. The process was very easy everyone was very friendly and the price was reasonable. they even cleaned up the ring and made it look better than when I brought it in. I enjoyed sitting on their sofa and drinking their coffee playing on my phone during the process. everything seemed very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. great job guys
