The veterinarians and staff at Somers Animal Hospital are ready to provide your pet with compassionate and comprehensive veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog or cat will receive high-quality care at our hospital.
In human medicine, it has become a standard of care that after injury or many types of surgery, patients receive physical therapy. While in most states physical therapy for animals is termed "physical rehabilitation", the same techniques are used, reaping the same benefits. Dr. Timothy Walker underwent extensive training through the University of Tennessee to become a certified canine physical rehabilitation practitioner.
Always caring and helpful. One of our cats is very sick and they're working diligently to find the best way to approach his treatment. Everyone at Somers Animal Hospital are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I'm always confident Little Bear is in good hands when I drop him off to see a specialist.
After regular hours, please call the main hospital number which will directly connect you to either Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, Animal Specialty Center, or to leave a message for the office which will be handled the next business day. Both hospitals have veterinary technicians or veterinarians available to answer your questions and give advice.

From the front desk team, vet techs, to meeting with the doctors, everyone is friendly, helpful, supportive and professional. I appreciate Dr. Walker's approach to his care for my dogs. He listens to my concerns and requests and discusses options without negating mine. He's a wealth of information and one can't deny his kind spirit and love of animals. My dog just had surgery and from step one to setting up our post-op visit, I was provided with complete information and follow-up calls to ensure all was going well. Thank you Somers Animal Hospital.

Dr Walker is an Amazing Doctor. His Expertise is exceptional!! When I took My Lena Lee for surgery he was so Kind Caring and reassured me Lena was in the Best if Care. And she sure was his kind and Caring ways are Amazing. The Staff Catherine and all the others were so Loving and Compassionate

Hands down the best Vet center we’ve ever been to and if you love your 4 legged family members than this is the place. The Dr’s are at the top of the trade and the staff is mainly long term so there is a cohesion that is unusual which benefits everyone who walks through the door- 2 legs or 4.
