Slabs is a new BBQ Restaurant with Smokehouse and Store and we are serving dinner Thursday and Friday from 5PM-9PM, and Saturday 11-9PM. Our Lake City SC dining features the best beef brisket and smoke ring this side of Texas. Slabs Wood Fired Barbecue Restaurant will bring beef brisket cooked Texas Style low and slow on wood.
Turkey trumpet calls are handmade by Brian Fenters for Slabs in Lake City South Carolina. Trumpet calls are not for adult hunters use only. We've seen children and young teenagers who like to hunt turkey gobblers too. Those under the age of 18 can hunt before everyone else. Depending on where you live in South Carolina, will determine how long you must wait to try out your new turkey trumpet at Slabs!
Slabs Store features wood turned items along with custom live edge wood tables and an Art Gallery featuring Fleetwood Covington. If you are searching for an eatery that will satisfy 3 generations equally, make the trip to Slabs in Lake City,, SC. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is comfortable in a laid back, natural setting (complete with binoculars to view visiting wildlife). But it's the owners that truly make the experience fun for ALL ages! Barbara and Brian Fenters have created a special place to enjoy delicious ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, interesting sides and homemade desserts at a reasonable price. Your family will enjoy every moment and every bite. We certainly did. And some of us are quite picky

I will recommend Slabs to everyone it's the best BBQ and in town , I've ate at many places for BBQ but Slabs is the best by far so if you are heading to Lake city on a Thursday thur Saturday go by and see Barb and Brian they will treat you like family. But the first Saturday of each month they have a ribeye steak dinner along with 2 sides for only 22.95. It's cooked right that you can even cut it with a plastic knife. So come on let's go and eat some BBQ at Slabs tell them Joanna said Hi .

I had the beef brisket and my husband had pulled pork. Both meats were tender and had good flavor. I got the smallest portion (3 slices). Huge slices. Had to take half home. My baked beans had more tomato than I liked, but they let you try any side before you order. They have a no tipping policy, but I would of tipped! Friendly and fast service. We sat in back with view of pond (binoculars provided). Very homey, good place.
