Our new state of the art Monmouth facility was completed in Fall of 2013. It was designed with the needs of your family in mind. Our Funeral Home offers all of the space and amenities you and your family may require at your time of need. After listening to those we serve, we have allowed for chapels which are of a size to handle most any type of service.

When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.

Born in Chicago, IL, and grew up in the northwest suburb of Hanover Park, IL. Al graduated from Hoffman Estates High School and attended Loras College in Dubuque, IA, where he received his B.A. in Secondary Special Education. While at Loras Al became interested in Funeral Services as a career after living and working at Egelhoff-Casper-Strueber Funeral Home in Dubuque.

Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
