Services
Families have been placing their trust in us for generations. We have always made outstanding service our #1 priority and are honored to serve you since 1958. George Elliott Sr. built Lunning Chapel in 1958. The farmland and home was purchased from Jerry and Gertrude Suesens. A church like chapel was added to the west side of the original farmhouse, along with extensive interior remodeling.

When a loved one dies at home or in a place that isn't a healthcare facility, you'll need to contact emergency personnel before they can be taken into our care.If your loved one was under medical care, it's a good idea to call their physician as well. If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.

Wow where do I start! Lunning Chapel was very respectful. Clean place, wasn’t pushy on anything and treated my family with the most respect. Chip was awesome to work with and wasn’t trying to sell items. Knowing this now Lunning Chapel will be the only place I will use and refer. Thank you to the staff at Lunning and thank you Chip you made things so much easier and less stressful.

I have lost my parents and my husband and used Lunnings every time. I can not say enough good things about Chip and the receptionist, don’t recall her name sorry. I can’t imagine going through this without Chips assistance. He makes everything so easy and truly cares about you and your loved one. Chips work can’t be easy , however I’m very grateful for what he does.

When my mom died unexpectantly I was devastated and lost. I had been to many lovely sevices for others at Lunning's Chapel but had never needed to call them myself but I will forever be greatful for the assistance and compassion I was shown during and after this devastating time. The director Rochelle Swanner and her assistant Elizabeth made this very difficult time so easy. I was just able to grieve the love and loss of someone so important to me without the stress of all the particulars. .I will forever be greatful to them for their assistance in getting through this very emotional time. Chip and his staff were true professionals. We traveled in from out of state for our dads burial and everything was ready as promised. I am a funeral director myself so details matter. Our family has used Lunnings for four immediate family members over the past 25 years and they are always friendly and professional.
