Playful Learning Cooperative Preschool is all about sharing. When you join the school you join a network of parents that believe in the "cooperative" concept. Parent and/or caregiver active participation in their child's preschool provides an enriched education experience. As a cooperative parent and/or caregiver, you not only receive college credits via Edmonds College, but are also eligible for the EdPass card, which gives you access to great services and students discounts. Low monthly tuition. Parenting education sessions provided and facilitated by Parent Instructors on topics of importance and interest to you.

Services
Playful Learning Co-op Preschool is conveniently located just north of Edmonds College at 6915 196th Street SW, Lynnwood WA 98036. Our classroom is a large and bright indoor play space that is approximately 1400 square feet where preschoolers can enjoy art, building, sensory play, story time, and many more fun activities.
Masks are required for all adults and children 2 & up while at the preschool. An encouraging stance of Mask Learning is used to help our youngest students increase their comfort and ability to do so. In-person classes will be limited in total group size and activities will be designed to encourage safe distancing.
As a cooperative school, we are seeking teachers able to both nurture and engage students as they grow and to provide parents with support and direction in their classroom roles. An ideal candidate will be able to plan and implement an age-appropriate, play-based curriculum, exhibit strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, and will be continually seeking to grow in their teaching and classroom management skills.
As a cooperative preschool, we are fueled by the involvement of our families. They add energy and enrich our community while fulfilling tasks needed for us to function. Caregivers will bring a snack on a rotation schedule. Depending on the size of the class, this will mean snack duty every 1 to 2 months.
We are proud to again be able to offer engaging, high quality Remote Learning elements during Fall 2021 for families who are unable or not yet ready for fully in-person learning. Remote Learning at PLCP offers the same engaging, play-based curriculum accessible online on a device and through take-home materials in your own home.
