I'm Paul Perez, the CEO of Haven and a US Army Veteran. I'm a Professional Home Inspector and Member of ASHI, the American Society of Home Inspectors. I'm professionally trained and certified by TREC (#22639), the Texas Real Estate Commission. In the past ten years, I've had the great pleasure of serving with local organizations like Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity, to help improve the homes and lives of those in need.

Paul did a wonderful job on my personal home inspection. He was very professional, thorough and explained everything in detail. What a great experience!! We are in the process of buying a new home, and as any home buyer, stress levels are reaching their peak right about now! Mr. Perez was not only extremely punctual (he was actually there before us!), and performed an absolutely thorough inspection of the property. He went out of his way to answer every question we had in a very friendly and detailed manner, (there were plenty of questions, believe me!) patiently explained the operation of the devices, gadgets, switches, and the such!
We are now absolutely comfortable and confident about our investment.

Mr. Perez did an amazing job at preforming the inspection on our brand new home. He did such a thorough job the head construction superintendent was beyond impressed, stating that in his 35 years working with many realtors who have sent home inspectors and Mr. Perez was by far the best he’s seen. Best home inspector. Paul Perez not only was he there early but did a thorough and professional job inspecting my new home and promptly submitted a comprehensive report prior to the walk through, which enabled the builder to complete the required repairs and likely saved me a lot of headaches. He shows clear photos and very well explains his observations as well as suggestions on options for addressing any concerns. He spotted things I would never have noticed myself. We had an inspection done by Mr. Perez and was very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. However, when it came to the reporting aspect, his style of reporting was a little confusing and hard to follow. Mr. Perez, my suggestion to you is to use a Multilevel Listing System (i.e: 1) Plumbing 1 a) Kitchen 1 b) Main Bathroom, etc.) to identify the picture and documentation of each. His knowledge during the inspection helped us identify very costly problems, the money spent was worth every penny for that reason alone! Overall, we would highly recommend his services!
