Dr. Tracy has loved and worked with animals his entire life. He grew up on a farm in Gates county North Carolina, and began working in the veterinary field at the age of 16; upon graduating from high school he knew he would become a veterinarian. He excelled in his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University, and graduated from veterinary school there in 1997.
Dr. Tracy and all of the staff at MAH are the absolute best! I started to bringing my Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies there right after I got them last summer. I have since started taking our other two dogs there that normally went to another vet. They have so much love & compassion for the animals and their humans that I won't be taking my girls anywhere else but here!

Very friendly staff. Works you through the step by step process for surgeries and provides multiple options. My only wish is that they severed more than just cats and dogs. They do not serve and exotic or aquatic pets to my knowledge. Also would be nice if they upgraded their waiting area. Not much space or chairs. Not much decor either. Could use an update.

Love this place!! Staff has always been kind and considerate even though they are Always swamped with clients. Expect wait times fo appointments to be a bit longer. I drive to them from Elizabeth City. There are closer vet offices but not better ones! They took outstanding care of my precious little one in her last year. My new puppy will go there when I get her.

She was referred by a friend. They were able to squeeze us in the next day. They were also able to give me a diagnosis. So my dog was sent home with prescriptions and a follow-up in 2 weeks. I was very pleased with the results. A little pricey, but we were able to get results and get in next day because of a consolation.

Our dog was not doing well and they gave quick exceptional care during her case of severe pancreatitis. They were great at informing us of everything going on with her and the cost of care step by step. They worked with us to make everything as smoothly as possible. We knew our fur baby was in good hands. We are so thankful for them.
