My name is John Clover and I have been working as a professional chef for 30 years in high-end, fine dining restaurants and hotels, most of which were four-star and four-diamond rated. I have 3 beautiful and talented daughters and I love to cook, camp, and hang out with our dog, Sampson. I opened Absaroka Cake Company in 2017 when I saw a need for specialty cakes here in the greater Yellowstone area.

I have worked with individuals around the country to deliver dream wedding, birthday, and celebratory cakes ever since! I love what I do and would love the opportunity to work with you to create your perfect cake.
Services
Specialty Fillings: Cream Cheese, Raspberry Mousse, Strawberry Mousse, Dark Chocolate Mousse, White Chocolate Mousse, Lemon Curd, Strawberry Jam, Raspberry Jam and Cannoli w/ Mini Chocolate Chip. Our wedding cakes will range between $10 to $15 per guest. Its too difficult to put an exact dollar amount on a cake when there are so many variables specific to your event.

John made us a small cake for my initiate wedding dinner. He was very easy to work with and quick to respond. The cake was absolutely beautiful and so good! One of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted!

I got married in the Jackson Hole, WY area in July 2021 where finding a reputable cake designer was challenging unless I wanted to pay a fortune due to inflated Jackson Hole pricing. We found John at Absaroka… Cake Company and never looked back!
CAKE TASTING: John opened his home bakery to my mother, sister, nephew, and me to taste a handful of cake flavors two months before the wedding. Here is when I knew we found our baker! Have a backup plan if you book with Absaroka Cake! I would love to say I had the chance to eat this cake, but I never got that chance! I want to start off by saying I did get a full refund, but I didn’t get a tiered rustic wedding cake like I’d ordered.
