Lucca Truck is mobile, we can wheel up on any path you desire. Our 1947 Dodge is a masterpiece, the original truck was used as the Detroit fire departments parade truck. It is a classic that has been restored to the finest. Lots of memories have been made and will continue out west. We are so thankful to be in Santa Barbara and serving the surrounding communities.

We love Pizza! We really love Pizza. We motored our way through the hillsides of Italy on a tiny blue scooter, a little too tiny for my 200 lb finance and myself, but we crept up to a pizzeria where we would spend the day tossing dough and learning the secrets to Italian pizza. The ever so simplicity of the sauce, the delicate crust and cheese, oh the cheese, pure melty heaven.
Our Wood Fired Pizza starts with our tried and true dough recipe that delivers a fluffy inside and a light crisp outside. We then top it with fresh and seasonal ingredients that please any and all taste buds. With five pizzas coming out of our 700 degree wood fired oven every minute and a half, we can serve all event sizes from intimate elopements to events of 600+ guests in an efficient manner.

Lucca Truck Woodfired Pizza was incredible! Mark & Melissa were delightful, professional, and very easy to work with. The selection of pizzas and salads is amazing and truly delicious. Their staff was so nice and very efficient. We never waited for food -- the pizzas kept coming! The truck really sets the tone for the party and enhances the experience. We added their mini s'mores for dessert at the last minute, which was a great call! This is how to throw a party!

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner this evening on the beach with Lucca providing the pizza and salad. It was delicious! The various pizzas were incredible as was the salad and the awesome mini s'mores for dessert which were also made in the pizza oven. The Lucca staff was friendly and efficient with keeping hot pizza always available.
If I lived in Santa Barbara I would definitely use this food truck for parties!

The pizza was delicious, but communication and service by Melissa were extremely difficult and frustrating. Communication between staff, the couple, and planner was a huge mess. Organization, clarity, and followthrough are not strongpoints. Ultimately, our wedding day was not what we asked for or paid for. Issues with this vendor extended 2.5 weeks past our wedding - trying to resolve the issues and get refunded for services we paid for (and were blindsided by the upcharge a week before our wedding) but were not provided. Melissa did end up refunding us for the service that was not provided, but

Lucca truck is hands down the best pizza in Santa Barbara and arguably some of the best pizza in the world (Italy included!). The owners, Mark and Melissa, treat you like family. They offer a classy take on a pizza truck but even though it's fine dining they make it still feel cozy and and family friendly. Can't recommend more highly enough!

I hired Lucca Truck to cater our private event at a winery the night before our wedding. They were great to work with - very professional and detail oriented. They even incorporated our wedding logo onto their blackboard containing the pizza menu. They accommodated a Vegan and another severe food allergy in our group, also had options for lactose intolerant - they were great! Oh, did I mention the food was delicious? I planned a wedding in Los Olivos for about 150 guests... We hired Lucca for the welcome dinner on Friday. It was a huge hit! Their pizza was some of the best I have had! Not to mention their setup is amazing! I appreciate that they kept themselves organized and would check in with me periodically to make sure we were still on schedule or if we needed anything. I look forward to working with them again!

After our initial review we had moved on and forgotten the regrettable encounter with Lucca. Now, 8 months after our review, at 4:18 am Mark (Melissa's husband) posted a malicious, hated filled and defamatory rampage filled with lies attacking me personally (which was eventually removed). I am deeply disgusted by their behaviour and cannot believe a company would act so unprofessionally. In my opinion I would urge anyone considering hiring Lucca Truck to keep FAR FAR away!!!!!

We had our wedding back in March and have wanted to write this review for some time but didn't get our pics until recently (a story for another day) I was so happy with my decision to go with Lucca! who doesn't like pizza? who wants a fancy sit down dinner when you can dance around in a field with fresh homemade artisan pizza! Melissa was the best & endlessly calmed my nerves as a worried bride. Countless guests roared about the pizza, even our pizza critic family from NY!! I would definitely recommend Lucca to cater, they bring such a fun vibe/energy to the mix and I am so grateful

We were a little worried about Lucca for our wedding catering after reading the bad review a week before our wedding! But everything was above and beyond at our wedding. There was a wide variety of choices of food for everyone with everything clearly labelled when it was Vegan. We had Melissa put a menu of pizzas on a blackboard with all the options for everyone. Our guests all raved about how good the food was. They stayed way after the contracted time. Both Melissa and Mark were so lovely and sweet and all the staff top notch and easy to work with. Excellent! Lucca truck came to my school and catered for about 70 students - I was very pleasantly surprised with the pizza! It's hard to find good California pizza in Santa Barbara but I think Lucca is definitely on my charts! Perfect for big events because they just put out pizza and you grab want you want. Very fresh ingredients and the owner (I think it was) was very kind!

We just went to our nieces outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara. I heard it was being catered by a pizza truck! I thought "well, that's different". What a pleasant surprise. The truck set up with a warm antique vineyard feel. The food was delicious, fresh baked right there with fresh ingredients creating a fun warm atmosphere. The cooks and servers were all so friendly. It was very enjoyable! I would absolutely recommend them.

I had Lucca truck pizza when I volunteered for the Bucket Brigade. One day they donated pizza for the crew! It was so delicious I have been dreaming about it ever since. I hope to have it again soon. The truck and set up is beautiful. The owners are extremely nice. The food is delicious- what more could you ask for!

The ambiance of the truck set the vibe and everyone loved all the apps and the thin Italian style pizza. If I could do it again tomorrow I would. I highly recommend the Lucca Truck! We used Lucca Truck for our July 4th party in Jackson Hole this past summer. Melissa, Mark and team are amazing. We had about 50 people. They took care of everything for us for out party; rentals, flowers, clean up. Their presentation was so pretty and the food, absolutely delicious! Our guests were very pleased as well.
