Therapy, I believe, has the power to transform those parts of us that have held us back from enjoying an authentic life. I practice counseling primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, which pays special attention to how early relationships formed who we are today. I provide counseling to individuals around issues of depression, anxiety, adjustment to stress, and existential concerns that intersect with religion and spirituality.

I have worked in healthcare organizations for over seven years providing grief and crisis counseling. I am passionate about working with clients to help them overcome their struggles and live a life of integrity. Her personal website is here. Please feel free to reach out to me and know that I am always willing to refer potential clients that are not a good fit to members of the group.
Services
I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I'll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?.
Could you use an expert opinion on what you're going through, or a non-judgemental ear just to listen? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then individual therapy could be the solution you've been seeking. Individual therapy differs from group or alternative therapy methods in the way that you are the sole focus of a single therapist who helps you develop and achieve your goals for therapy.
Do you have an adult child still living at home, long after you expected them to move out? Are you having trouble getting your adult child to maintain employment or help out around the house? Does your adult child spend a lot of time playing video games, or hanging out with friends instead of working or going to school?
