Following the New York State mandate, DOS must limit indoor seating in both the bar as well as the inside dining area. Tables in the dining area have been separated for your safety. Portable partitions have been installed in the bar. We ask that there is no standing in the bar area and that all patrons be seated.

We went to Dos Mexi Cuban as a family for the first time tonight. Please take time to read this. It is a Friday night and we just got home and I want to share our experience. When we came in threre were only a couple other tables full. We sat down and looked at the menus. 5 minutes passed then 10 minutes passed. Nobody came to our table for our drink order or anything. We both had a long day and probably were not as patient as we should have been. So we started to get up to leave. The owner noticed, ran over and stopped us. We are so glad that he did! This gentleman sat with us and we began talking

Nice atmosphere! The service was excellent. Our sever was friendly, and we were asked multiple times if we needed anything. The margaritas were on point, especially the Jalapeno one! The food was tasty, but I will say the presentation of the rice and beans could've been better. It was served in a plastic cup, and the portions could've been bigger for the price. Overall good!

I Will never return... I used to love going here; covid defiantly hit them hard. I tried them several times over the past year, hoping they would get back to the food that I loved when they first opened. Still, again tonight, I was disappointed over a take-out meal that was overpriced, the steak burritos had the texture of leather and fatty, and they tasted a bit off, missing a chicken burrito in my order. The chicken tacos, I have seen better at the local Mexican restaurant for 1/2 the price and with more than just chicken for the filling. I'm not sorry about this review; I have given them several

We went here early tonight (Saturday). We went because of all of the great reviews on here and this was not our experience. The drinks and service were great. The calamari tasted as if it came frozen out of a box and does not look like the pictures people have posted. It came with luke warm tomato sauce. Not the sauce that the menu says it came with. There was no seasoning on the rice and beans. Food was bland, dry and does not represent Mexican or Cuban food. It is extremely pricy for a meal that was not enjoyed.

This is our new favorite place. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Drinks are amazing! Watermelon margarita is outstanding. The steak bowl is made to perfection. Steak is amazing and cooked perfectly.… The nacho platter is delicious. Everything is fresh and portion is large. The owner is the nicest person and the waiter/ bar tender is the best!! Best food and drinks. Never rushed. This is our favorite restaurant!

We ordered our first takeout and we were exceptionally pleased. First the order was completed and delivered earlier than expected. The food was beautifully prepared and the fajita ingredients separated perfectly. The pork tacos were out of this world with the mango sauce. We thank the restaurant for their complementary cheese fajita which was also delicious. We will be back thank you for a wonderful meal At a local restaurant.

Loud, at our dining room table (too near the bar) on a Saturday night at 6:30 pm with a reservation.
My wife ordered the pulled pork tacos. See the picture. Excellent flavor.
My pulled beef steak was salty and tough and had too much fat. See photos. Tasted OK. My Moros (rice and beans) was 90% rice and I was disappointed. The bed of sautéed baby spinach leaves under was the best part of my meal.
They gave us Tre Leche dessert cake because ? A nice touch. Very tasty cake!

It was my 1st time here and I have to say it was an overall nice experience. There was about a 15 minute wait but that's understandable on a Friday night. The hostess and manager was very friendly as well as our waitress. The food was delicious and plated very nicely too. The only thing that would need improvement was how the busboy cleaned the tables, while we were eating he was cleaning the table next to us and sprayed the windex in a stream and it hit us and our table and my salad. I would strongly advise put it on spray instead of stream, it would be much better. I will be dining there again

The place is very small. The food is not authentic Cuban food or Mexican . Neither is it a combination of both. The staff is very friendly. The owner is very attentive and makes you feel at home . A bit overpriced for what you get which for the area it’s not ok. If you are looking for a good drink on a Friday night then by all means go there . They need to make some mayor improvements to the food .
