7 Seas Inn
South Lake Tahoe's Boutique Inn with a Bed and Breakfast Attitude is nestled between Lakeside Beach and Heavenly Village. If you stroll three blocks west, you may visit our world-famous casinos in Nevada: Harvey's, Harrah's, the Hard Rock, Lakeside and of course the very modern Mont Blu. These casinos offer fabulous entertainment, dining, clubbing, gaming and of course, fine beverages.

Harvey's out-door amphitheater features outstanding summer concerts that you can hear from the Inn's garden. On the California side, you will find Heavenly Village, a great collection of restaurants, shopping and family entertainment including a magic show at the Loft. Our guests consistently rank our location as a "10".

The room was nice and comfortable. Sam was very hospitable and helped us out so much when our car was stuck in the snow as we came unprepared. Would definitely come back!

Their Slogan  "Boutique Hotel with B&B attitude" couldn't have been more appropriate!
We went in thinking that we were just going to get a cheap hotel near the concert we were there to attend, and walked away raving as much about the stay we had as we were with the concert we saw!!
As soon as we arrived, Joseph was out greeting us as he offered to carry our luggage to our room, while Marshall(?), who was in their cozy little kitchen/dining room area preparing his amazing carrot cake (which was a part of the next mornings delicious homemade complimentary breakfast) Â

We were supposed to stay at the 7 Seas Inn right around the time when South Lake Tahoe had to evacuate because of Caldor fire. We wanted to cancel or preferably reschedule our booking to a later time when it was safe to travel to the region. We called the Inn and we were informed that it is absolutely safe to travel to the area (I don't understand how it would be safe when they had to evacuate just few days later) at that time and they won't let us reschedule and if we cancel, we'll loose all our money (they already charged us for the whole stay). We decided to cancel and deal with it later, tried

I don't normally write reviews but felt I needed to warn people about this fraudulent place. I had read many glowing reviews, and so was excited to stay here. I arrived, and the place was deserted with no one in the office. This seemed unsafe and eerie. I called the phone number registered and some woman in Texas tried to unlock my room via a remote system, which didn't work. She explained that none of the amenities advertised (hot tub, breakfast, hospitable and safe environment, cleaned and heated rooms, etc) were actually provided as the place recently switched to new management. Of course I

Had to cancel because of fire. Nice front desk guy said air was terrible. They charged my card anyway. Disputing with credit card and on line booking reservation site. No one has ever answered the phone. I would have been open to making a deal but seems like the place has been abandoned.

So odd that we wondered if we were being scammed..

We arrived on Friday, 10/8, to find an empty parking lot with no one in the office. We had booked online and someone called us to let us know that no one came back to work after the fires, and they had to find a new management company to run the property. We had pre-paid online but were not charged. Instead they sent us a new bill for almost double what we were quoted. The property no longer has free breakfast, happy hour, and the hot tub is closed. No one on the property either. The doors have electric combination locks, so we went in to

Lovely cute little B&B very close to the Casinos & Heavenly. Really nice rooms and great breakfast that was delicious & filling. They also offer a discount for those who return. Hope to stay here the next time I come to Tahoe :)

Not the same place anymore. Most of the positive reviews were when the previous innkeepers, Bill and Deb ran the place.

Regardless, we booked a room for September 3rd to attend the Train Concert at Harveys. Then the Caldor Fire hit. Several days before the concert, it was postponed. The following day South Lake Tahoe was evacuated. The town was closed. We reached out via email and phone to request a refund, did not receive a response. Now the voicemail is full and still no resolution.

As with the other reviewer, we will dispute this through our credit card company. I know it was a tough

I am writing this review in hopes that someone from 7 Seas will respond. Started calling several days prior to my scheduled stay. Everything was closed due to the Caldor Fire, and I understand everyone got evacuated, but it's been 30 days now. I was charged in full for my stay. I've called daily and have sent multiple emails to try and get some kind of resolution. No response. No answer.

Look elsewhere and save yourself the stress. They changed management recently. All of the reasons I booked it for--intimate, chill setting with attentive staff, hot tub, complimentary breakfast, is no longer true. I showed up at 3:00pm, check-in time. There was no one there and we kept calling various numbers multiple times and they just kept bouncing us back and forth over the phone. An hour later, we finally get our unit number and the code sent to us. The keypad did not work and they assumed we did not know how to use it. After another 15 minutes on the phone, we suggested they put us in a different

I'm sad to say after coming here the past 4 years things just aren't as great as the use to be. The host was great super friendly and the guests we met at the happy hour were amazing if just based on that it would be a 10! But everything else not so good.

Look elsewhere. Very disappointing. We arrived 8/16/21 expecting to stay 3 nights for our anniversary. Their web site heavily over embellishes this establishment. Very dingy and dated. Surrounded by abandoned and shady motels and ongoing construction. My feet immediately turned black from their dirty floors. The hot tub was closed, although it was tiny and questionable looking so I would not have used it anyway. WiFi didn't work. Their flat screen HDTV was a 23" computer monitor. The "lake front" amenities require you to walk 10 minutes through questionable areas and cost an additional fee. However

Recently stayed two nights. You can't beat the location and the price. The room was clean with the exception of some dust in the back of the closet. The bed was comfortable but the TV was small. There is a complementary breakfast. You pick your items from a list the day before and pick it up in a basket the next morning. There was ample food and held me over nicely until lunch. Unfortunately beach passes are no longer free. They now cost $10 but it was worth it for me. The happy hour is a nice touch after a day at the beach. The patio is a nice place to relax and the end of the day or eat

This late review is from my visit in 2019.
I've read in recent reviews that the owners have changed, so that on top of covid will have outdated some of my writing.

The room was quiet and thoughtfully arranged for cozy, romantic, clean, and functional. The bed was very comfortable.

The shower easily got the bathroom floor wet/slippery, so it would be good if the owners add rugs or bath mats and build a more functional barrier door between the water and rest of the room. I slid a few times when exiting despite throwing a towel on the floor.

The private beach admission came with the booking

The place was nice and "cozy." Very clean and quiet. Not too far from the strip about 2 blocks away. Staff was very nice. Would've put 5 stars but the shower was so small, check in was fast but no early check out for out of towners. Latest time was 7:30 as their office hours stated, but there was no one inside the office. Wish their was a drop box for keys for very "early" people who have to leave earlier in the morning before 7:30 am. Would come back soon.

Wife and I just spent 3 nights here and loved it!

Honestly breakfast and happy hour included in a hotel is really hard to find and that made this inn for us!
Breakfast is packaged for pick up in a basket (you select pick up time and what you'd like from the menu the day before) and you can eat outside or in your room. Choices were - tea, coffee, orange juice or apple juice; freshly baked pastry (almond poppyseed cake, cinnamon coffee cake); cheese omelette or breakfast burrito/breakfast sandwich; yogurt or orange slices.
Happy hour/social hour was outside 2 days and inside our last day as

I stayed here for a total of three nights with my boyfriend recently. Overall, I would say we had a great experience here. The staff was very helpful and friendly, it was easy to have a good conversation with them and they were very prompt in helping us.

The breakfast and social hour is absolutely a highlight of this place. The breakfast is served in a picnic basket and you can either take it to your room or enjoy their outdoor seating area. The social hour is usually a light snack and wine/beer/soda from 5pm-630pm and we were able to have a nice chat with other travelers.

Great location right next to plenty of restaurants, the gondola, and the lake! It was within walking distance to our plans for the day. Breakfast was provided in the morning and the staff was quick to respond with anything that we needed. Rooms were clean, the place was quiet, and there's even a fire pit. Perfect for when you're ready to relax after a day out!

In a word. No. I really wanted to like this place. At first glance, this place is pretty cute. After staying for 3 days, I'm utterly grossed out. First, the floors weren't swept, as soon as I took my shoes off my white socks turned black within minutes. I didn't think that was a huge deal since the rest of the room seemed pretty clean. Towards the end of day two, we realized how gross this place was. I couldn't find my tweezers, figured they fell into the couch cushion. Why oh WHY did I have to look in there?! Have you ever dry heaved from just the look of something? Sheets

Honestly. AMAZING. The team, the place, the cost.

Nothing could make this place better!

I really enjoyed the happy hour and my wife and I thought the breakfast basket they offer was perfect. This charming inn stands little but mighty compared with the larger resorts. Any time we return it will be at the 7 Seas Inn.

We got off to a rocky start. Our "welcome mat" was a Black Lives Matter sign, displayed prominently on the path to the office where we checked in. There is an enormous difference between the Black Lives Matter organization, and "black lives matter" the statement and concept. Every decent human being agrees with the latter, but many of us reject the former as an explicitly neo-Marxist, racist, violent, anti-police organization that, in the words of its own leaders, seeks to destroy American society as well as the core ideas on which this nation was founded. Great spot, quiet, amazing staff - Chad, Chaz - and the owners Mark and Deb are absolutely arms wide open welcoming. Loved the picnic basket breakfast, happy hour each night and the overall vibe. Rooms are cozy and not a lot of room to spread out. But everything you need is in the rooms.
