The Claremont Animal Hospital, Inc. is a place where pets and pet owners receive a special level of care and attention. As faithful companions, your pet is considered to be a very special member of your family who deserves the very best in care. Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive and advanced veterinary care in the region, treating large and small animals as if they were our own.
Dr. Fisher has owned the Claremont Animal Hospital since he purchased it in 1986. Dr. Fisher's experience with animals started as a child growing up on a dairy farm in Grafton, Vermont. He attended veterinary school at Purdue University in Indiana, returning to New England to practice veterinary medicine.
We routinely perform a variety of soft tissue surgical procedures on a daily basis. With every surgical procedure we have the option and always recommend performing screening pre-operative blood work and placing an intravenous catheter for during the procedure.
Our experienced technical staff is well versed in anesthesia and monitoring, and every effort is made to make even routine surgeries as safe and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.Spay and neuter of cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, potbellied pigs and other exotic pets.

The front desk staff, technicians and doctors listen, evaluate and he[p (with options and personal experiences they have had) when I have been faced with making difficult decisions. I presently have 4 dogs and 3 cats one of whom is 21 years of age. End of life decisions are the hardest as you can imagine. The doctor has come to my house 5 times over the years (when it was time) so that the end of life experience for my pet was as gentle as possible. I am forever grateful and appreciative to have those memories.. Thank you.

I cannot rave enough about the care we receive here. As an English bulldog mom, I have struggled to find the right one until we met Dr. Pollack. She is easily the most knowledgeable veterinarian and i love how much passion she shows for the job. From routine check ups to seasonal allergy issues to run-ins with porcupines and more. I highly recommend her! Whenever I call, Morgan is always an exceptional tech to speak with along with the other staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable. Despite being short-staffed through the pandemic, I have always been able to get appointments when needed. The pricing

No one has ever acted crabby or overwhelmed , which I’m well aware they were. I’m aware that’s it not easy working in a Vet clinic these days ! I’m very appreciative of all the employees that I’ve met there and to be a client !

This vet is awesome ! Before I started coming here I had been going to another veterinarian for at least 40 years if not longer all of a sudden they had a huge increase on their prices I’m talking about double so that’s when I started coming here. They are very caring about your pets I recommend them to anyone all I can say is shop around you might find Claremont animal Hospital to be the cheapest around thank you Claremont animal Hospital for taking care of all my puppies and my female English Springer spaniel’s

On a Saturday morning my dog encountered a porcupine, and was in agony with quills in her mouth face, and legs. The local vet was closed, Springfield Animal Hospital declined to see her, but Claremont, despite being close to closing time, had me bring her in.
An hour after I got there, I left with a comfortable dog.
This is not the first time Claremont took me when closer vets didn’t want to be bothered. Compassion, care, and expertise are what vet medicine is about.
