First time going, was sorely disappointed 😞. My boyfriend & I decided to give it a try, we both ordered the NY sirloin steak with shrimp. And I ordered coleslaw w/it. We both had our steak at medium rare, not sure what was going on there..But both of our steaks were pretty much fully cooked and tasted like it had been microwaved.. The shrimp was over cooked and bland.. Never again .. The only good outcome was the wait staff was super friendly.

This Is a good eat. The service was good and the food was better then fair. It's a wide open spacious place with plenty of seating even for Covid. Very clean. They have a good general restaurant menu not to to big,not to small. Fair prices. 4 meals and six cocktails 150. Not a first date place but a second for sure. This would be a great place for large gathering. 3.75..

Very expensive and the food quality is horrible. The steak I got cost me $28 and it was full of fat. The Manager said she would reimburse it and she just took half off. The cocktail was disgusting. I just drank a sip and I complained to waitress about flavor and she still charged me full price. Customer service and food are bad at this place. I am never coming back. It is a shame for Claremont having a restaurant like this one.

Stopped in on a Friday night, and were happy to get a table as the Taverne was quite crowded. Our waitress was attentive and we ordered chicken and salmon dishes with sides. While our sides were generally good, the chicken was quite dry and my salmon was downright fishy. I could not eat it. I mentioned it to our server when she checked in, and while she said she would tell the kitchen she offered no solution or adjustment. When she came to take my plate she saw the large remaining amount of salmon, paused almost as it she was going to offer a take home box, and then took it away and brought the

Our family was passing through Claremont and decided to make a stop at Taverne on the Square for dinner. We were very happy we did. The service was friendly and welcoming, nice relaxed ambiance, kid friendly and the food was all delicious and exceeded our expectations - brisket w/mashed potatoes and veggies, maple salmon with bushel sprouts and mashed potatoes, and the kids had the farmers favorite burgers! If we are ever in the area again we will be stopping here! ❤️
