Tavola Italiana

I was so sorry to learn that they are closed now. I believe they're just takeout. After my engagement in Vermont last year my fiancé & I stopped in to celebrate at Tavola. The place was beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was excellent!
I hope and pray that they are able to re-open for my wedding this winter because I would love to have our dinner there.

Best Italian I've had in the area. Ordered the chicken parm and fried mozzarella. Outstanding sauce.

Place looks good. covid restrictions can be frustrating but are very important. For whatever reason though Tavola would not allow my family to come visit as TWO separate groups of four to celebrate a birthday. We have all been tested negative recently. Why are two random groups of four safer than two groups that already quarantine together?! Extremely rude on the phone. Mangiamos was excellent anyways so guess we got lucky

I'm happy to see Tavola open back up more for the winter. Their food is too good to pass up and it's been sad only being able to get pizza.

As we aren't going to eat in anytime soon, We did takeout from them this week. Super easy to order online or on the ChowNow app. Easy to pick up too.

The chicken Marsala was awesome. Linguini with clams. Also great. The pizza was huge and my teenager enjoyed it as well.

Obviously they have a more limited menu for now but hopefully they can continue to ride out the pandemic and be back. Be sure to check them out when staying nearby. Good

I had one of the best Fra Diavolo tonight, they serve homemade fresh pasta and the sauce was the perfect amount of spice. The salad was made from very fresh ingredients.
My wife loved the chicken marsala, she said it was one of the best she has ever had.
The staff, from the hostess to the servers were very polite and professional.
The serving sizes were very reasonable, not overly large like some places, there is emphasis on quality here.
The prices were very reasonable as well, especially for the quality of the meal. The atmosphere made it seem as if it was a more expensive restaurant.

This place was truly excellent and I am not normally a fan of Italian food.
The location is spectacular. Beautiful views from outside and a really classy and cozy interior. No complaints here.
The staff are perfectly attentive and really sweet. They spent a lot of time with us and gave our baby a ton of attention.
The food though! It was real, authentic, home cooked Italian. I can not stress this enough. I HATE Italian restaurants because I know they are charging me $20 for .99c worth of noodles and it makes me angry. Tavola was different. The flavors were ambitious and bold. Strong flavors

We had a small wedding at the restaurant. This is the best Italian food in Ludlow! The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. Our decision to host our wedding there was a perfect choice! I would say this is one if the places you must try in Ludlow!

I was given a gift card over the holidays and decided it would be a good time to use it. We arrived around 6:45 pm and sat in the bar area. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We ordered an Appetizer to share along with some warm bread. The entrees came and were quite good. This was our second time at La Tavola and will definitely go back.

We were really hungry and all the other restaurants were super crowded and couldn't accommodate us. This was such a lovely surprise a little bit outside of town which was perfect because it was closer to our lovely hotel the Echo Lake Inn. We had a wonderful meal of super fresh ingredients and the service was terrific they couldn't have been nicer I would absolutely recommend this terrific Italian restaurant when ever you're in the Ludlow area.

Best Italian in Ludlow. Very nice ambiance, especially the bar area. Chicken Francese and Seafood Pasta were excellent.

Great, authentic Italian. We had a portobello over sliced potato app that was delicious, then a special ravioli which my son loved and the filet which was good. Great olive oil, ambiance, good service....will repeat regularly.

Really great Italian food and great staff. We came on a Saturday without reservations and the owner managed to squeeze us in even though they were fully booked. Really appreciated the service and food.

I am going to two stars because the service was very good and the people are nice but it ends there. The tomato and fresh Mozzarella was served with hard as a rock non ripe tomatoes. The pricey Lasagna was made with a tomato sauce that tasted like doctored canned sauce, possibly the worst Lasagna I've had in I can't remember and priced close to $20.00. I can only think the folks giving this place 5 stars have never actually had good Italian food. I would never, ever go back. Wish we'd gone for Tacos in town I hear they are good.

This is one of the best Italian meals we have ever had in Ludlow. The space has a bit of an eclectic Italian atmosphere, however the food is among the top cuisines in town. Experienced chef and wait staff with a broad menu including lots of delicious homemade pasta. Give it a try! You will NOT be disappointed.

La Tavola never disappoints! Great Italian food every time and the bartender Sean is a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the menu. We keep coming back!!

This place has been a few different businesses over the last few years. Straight up Italian food. Food was very heavy Italian. Decor is dated and is the third Italian restaurant in a small town. Pretty expensive too!

Awesome!!! Party of 5, every meal was cooked perfectly, the owner, I think, was delightful, she describes her dishes perfectly and they were delicious. Thank you for a great culinary experience.

I like to start with the good things from tonight’s dinner-
All dishes were tasty and well prepared.
An unexpected shrill & loud fire alarm went off for almost 15 minutes- not once did a server or manager attempt to comfort the crowd and give a time estimate. In fact in the middle of the ear deafening alarm, our dinners were brought out and we sent them back. It would be impossible to enjoy a meal with the alarm blaring.
Once the alarm had been shut off, our meals finished and desert & coffee declined, I suggested to our server that our drinks should be “on the house” as we suffered the

I have to admit that I had pretty low expectations going into this place. We are from NY and have some of the best Italian food so we are often disappointed when we eat Italian outside of NY. We were very pleasantly surprised with how great the food was. The sauces we had were all incredible with depth and great flavor. Sao was our server and we think she's the owner (although I'm not positive) but she was just a doll with a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back.

We keep coming back! Have tried the Marsala, lasagna, chicken parm and bolognese...Italian staples. All were delicious! Highly recommend the nightly specials as well, fresh and homemade. Great hosts and very friendly atmosphere!

Everything was good and the service was friendly and prompt. A little pricey. We visited on a Monday night.

We tried dinner here back in the fall when they first opened. I was less than impressed. Bill was high for what we ordered, I questioned it but really couldn't make sense of it. I was with a group so let it go. The dinner itself was average. I apparently offended the chef by asking to substitute Alfredo for marinara. My dinner was served cold. Others in the group were unhappy as well. I gave them a second chance and regretted it from the start. The bar tender by passed me several times to serve others who arrived after me. The meal was terrible. And when the bill came we were charged 6 drinks

Update. Had dinner with friends on New Years Eve. It was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Dessert was outrageous. Out waitress may have been an owner. Not sure. She was super cool and teally into explaining the meals. Love this place

Food was "Ok", not amazing. Be aware if you have food allergies as they don't seem to be well educated around how to handle. This is still common unfortunately. I had asked if they if they knew the ingredients in the bread they brought out to the table. They came back with the standard answer stating they didn't know. Lots of these privately owned restaurants just don't want to be bothered with doing the right thing for those with food allergies. They see it as too much work. This one is no exception.

Very nice dinner for a Friday evening just arriving in town for a ski weekend. Great service! Friendly, warm and welcoming. Hugh portions - I have lunch for tomorrow. The atmosphere is very nice. We have dined here with all the former owners and this is the best. Don’t skip dessert. I very nice Italian dinner. Don’t miss out.

We ordered take out from this restaurant and after 45 minutes, the order was missing 8 out of the 10 orders. After asking for the missing orders, the owner came out screaming, saying he didn't care if we would leave. We felt so uncomfortable being there, we wanted to leave.. The bartender came out apologizing but never again would I go to an establishment where a customer is treated so poorly.
