Oak View Animal Hospital is a blessing,my dog had Diarrhoea’s for days We decided to take him to the hospital. We are not from here so we look up animal hospital they was not so far and new patience first examination was( free )What A Blessing Everyone at the clinic is was super nice.From the front desk to the doctor.She actually sat down and talk to us and listen to us .long story short they are very caring.She new the right questions to ask and right away I knew we was in good hands .Also the hospital is very clean you won’t even know it’s a animal hospital we will come again Thanks to

The staff are all kind and caring. They show compassion and genuine concern for my pups. The reception was warm, the groomer is truly a real Master Groomer and the Veterinarians are exceptionally informative. I will be returning with full trust in all of them! They called me as soon as my pups were complete with everything and the dr went over all tests.

We were in Hoover visiting when our dog hurt her foot. I looked up Animal Hospitals and the first listing was Oak View. When we arrived the staff took us right in - they were awesome! We waited maybe 3 minutes before we saw the doctor. He took care of us with an exam and medicine within 15 minutes! I highly recommend Oak View Animal Hospital to anyone with pets in the Hoover, Alabama area.

I feel compelled to write this review to share the excellent experience we had with Oak View Animal Hospital. We are residents of the tiny parish of St. Charles, Louisiana. When we were asked to evacuate our home on August 27th we knew we would go to stay with our son in Alabama. The only catch was that our son is highly allergic to our fur babies. When we contacted Oak View they were extremely helpful in taking our dog, Buddy, in for boarding and getting his shots up to date. After Ida made landfall, we came to find out that we were her target which resulted in us extending our Alabama stay. The

This is the first vet Ive gone to that actually listened and came up with a plan for an ongoing problem my dog has been having! the rest have been medicine pushers and temporary fixers.

As you can see, I'm fairly inactive with reviews. HOWEVER...this review must be shared.
We evacuated for what we thought would be a 2-3 day "evacucation" from hurricane Ida. Our oldest son lives in Birmingham so we packed up a couple of carry-on suitcases and our two doggies and took the 5 hr drive from St Charles parish to Birmingham, AL.
Our son is very allergic to the dogs---especially our 70+ lb "Buddy", who sheds enough to make a new Pomeranian every single day! There was no way Buddy was going to be able to stay at his place, so I googled kennels in the area

So I'm a new dog owner, as in never owned a dog. I am one of the biggest worriers/hypochondriacs ever. Oak view has been the biggest blessing and eased so many of my concerns. Every time we come in we are greeted and Peter gets all the love!! The love doesn't stop with the vet clinic. I boarded Peter for the first time with Oak View last week and I had the best experience. He doesn't have all of his shots so they kept him separated from the other dogs. I have no doubt he got all the love and one on one attention while I was gone. Actually, maybe a .5 star. Oakview Animal Hospital told me I could adopt a perfectly adorable labradoodle, whom I'd begun loving the moment we met. I'd planned to pick him up the next day. Then I got a voicemail saying they'd given him away to someone else. They did not give me any advance notice. Their priority is animals, but their clients are human. OAH ought to really consider their bedside manner. I know OAH originally wanted this dog to be adopted with his buddy, and that's why they gave them both to someone else. But promising me the dog, who ran to me and put his head

We brought our lab mix here and was blown away by the awesome service we got the minute we walked through the door. Dr. Robinson is wonderful and nice and truly cares about her patients! She doesn't try to force products on you like some other vets do. I have heard that it is pricier than other places, I can't personally attest to that, but I will say it is well worth it for your pet babies!

We had an emergency with our Boston Terrier on Saturday and our vet was closed. They fit us in on Saturday took great care of our baby and even called today to follow up on him. I was very pleasantly surprised that they did not perform procedures that were unnecessary! We have found our new veterinarian no doubt!!
