In 2000, I came to America, met two great Houston hairstylists and trained under them for three years. Those were tough times because I didn't make that much money. What motivated me, was that one day, I could start my own business and be a hair stylist. After a couple of weeks, I started getting calls from my clients since I had already been on maternity leave for a while.
