Who doesn't remember coming home to the aroma of food that mom or grandma has been simmering on the stove for hours - and the joy of sharing that home-cooked meal with family and friends. That's the kind of memories Dienner's lives - and cooks - for. And that's exactly the kind of atmosphere you'll find inside Dienner's Country Restaurant.
The moment you walk through the doors and see and smell all the Lancaster County favorites, you'll have a childhood flashback - because the foods are like the ones you grew up with! Stick-to-the-ribs dishes like roast beef in gravy, mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, mac & cheese and stewed tomatoes and, for breakfast, cooked oatmeal, sausage gravy, and even scrapple.

What a wait for this place, simple and authentic Dutch dining that makes it feel like your grandma cooked it. Every bite and taste was filled with love. It's simple, it's not your typical too much options, it's just right. The chicken and pasta was one of my favorite. I also really enjoyed their pie options. We took one of each, and left with a smile on our face. It really gives you the authentic Dutch feel.

I'm really curious how the dinner is, because the breakfast buffet left me confused at the rating.
As a party of 3, we got here about 8:45am on Saturday morning and there was about a 15-20 minute wait. It's quite roomy inside, and most of the people started clearing out by 9:15, so I wouldn't get discouraged if there's a wait.
The breakfast buffet was $9.25 and it seemed like a no brainer when comparing to the a la carte menu. But after having the items, I don't even think it was worth $9.25 lol. I'd much rather pay more for better food (elsewhere).

Wow! Pristine place. A buffet of American dishes. Meat loaf and rotisserie chicken (which was juicy fantastic!) Amazing fresh salad bar and delicious desserts.
Service is top notch. Note the place gets busy! So arrive with plenty of time (you might wait 5 minutes depending on size of your party).
A green and red card "a la Brazilian steakhouse " is a great way to let server that you are still working on it while you refill
Plenty parking in the back.
An extremely enjoyable experience and great overall price for AYCE.

Found this place on google. Very clean and spacious restaurant, plenty of parking out back. We came on a Wednesday morning to try out their breakfast buffet. Food was good, reasonably priced. Just under $10 for 12+ and 0.77 cents for 3-11. Juice is not included in the pricing but tea and coffee is. The bacon, eggs, home fries were delicious. Not very big selection but generally everything you could want for breakfast, grits, oatmeal, pancakes, French toast, sausages, some baked goods such as sticky buns, yogurt, pies and such. Only con was the service was a little slow when we arrived and waited

Took a Friday trip up to Lancaster to do some shopping and asked the locals where to stop for a bite to eat. Was told Dienner's buffet was a must try so that's where we decided on. There was a wait when we arrived and we told around 15 minutes (the wait was more like 5). The hostess and waitress were both nice. We got the buffet and $15 for a Friday night dinner buffet is a steal. I started with a plate of a variety of different items as I wanted to try as many things as possible. There weren't a ton of choices but there were some great ones. The mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese,

Portions are huge! The roast beef dinner is just like home-cooked, delicious tender, lean, perfectly roasted beef morsels for a forkful of goodness each time. Prices are very good, especially considering what you get. The proprietor welcomed us, and I told her how much we enjoyed the family's restaurant. There is a salad bar with hot and cold foods. People have some gross hygiene. Recommend you order from the menu, which has many great choices. Easily accessible, next to windmill gift shop, ample parking. Busy place, and waitstaff were very efficient. Great experience here!! Will return

What I really like about this buffet is it's exceptionally clean and plastic gloves are provided, and smaller buffet trays means none of the food is sitting too long. There was a high rate of guests wearing masks. I love the higher than average number of hot vegetable choices, and some things I never had before, like small red beets cooked in their own pickle juices, house made noodles. Wednesday is pork und kraut day, which I recommend. Salad bar was great with numerous dressing choices and local favorites such as beet pickled eggs, a few fresh made soups. I'm not a big dessert person

I realize the buffet is the main draw here but decided to get takeout given I was traveling with an unvaccinated toddler and this establishment gets packed. We got the rotisserie chicken meal and a bunch of sides to go. Totally unimpressed with the quality of the food. The chicken was dry and unseasoned and the veggie sides were so bland. The blueberry pie just tasted like gloopy fruit that came from a can. The peanut butter cream pie lacked peanut flavor and mostly was whipped cream. I will say that the people are so sweet. There looked to be about a 20 minute wait around 5pm on a Wednesday

Dienner's country restaurant is a charming Amish restaurant located on Rt 30 next to Dutch Haven Amish gift shop. They provide you with paper menus for ala carte but your real deal is going for the buffet.
For lunch that buffet is $12.25 plus tax. With the buffet you get a full salad bar and a choice of two soups. They have rotisserie chicken, beef and gravy, ham, a bunch of sides to go with it and their daily special.
For dessert you have a self serve vanilla ice cream bar, a refrigerator full of small cuts of various pies, and on the bar a selection of cakes, puddings and custards, pumpkin

While in Lancaster, PA, we wanted to make sure that we dined at an Amish run business. We wanted to support local small businesses that rely not only the community but also on tourism. Dienner's Country Restaurant is in the city of Lancaster, just off of a busy highway. We didn't know what to expect, so we walked in with an open mind.
Dienner's is a cozy little restaurant that sits in front of a large field. You'll see Amish people walking to work from the farm that is situated just behind the property. A local Amish souvenir shop and woodwork business are adjacent to the restaurant

Started with the chicken corn noodle soup . The soup was hot creamy and loaded with chicken.
I tried everything , plus triple on the ice cream . and that was a challenge . The chicken was moist and tasty , ham had a unique flavor, beets Lima beans and stewed tomatoes were delicious. The pork and sauerkraut was very good along with the beef The brown butter noodles , Mac and cheese, beets and cream corn were also very good.

After traveling from Washington, D.C. to Hershey, PA to this neighboring city, my wife and I were definitely in for a treat. We were going to spend a day visiting/experiencing the Amish Community. With the help of Yelp, I had a lot of conflict of where to go. There were many different places to ride a Buggy...Many places for Petting Farms...and, of course, MANY restaurants to choose from. This one actually brought the best representation of the Amish Community. Let's eat breakfast at Dienner's Country Restaurant in Ronks, PA.

Dienner's Country Restaurant is an Amish owned and run restaurant, with honest and pure food. You can order a la carte or buffet. I'd suggest, go for the buffet and try all the yummy food!
It reminded me of the way my mother and grandmother cook. It's wonderful to experience the countryside Dutch cuisine in America. For the first time since my move here I finally had a taste of home.
Plus everything comes at a very affordable price, so it's possible for almost everyone to enjoy.

Dienner's is like America's countryside buffet. The food is very farm-life America, the table settings read "let us give thanks," they have Amish "noodles," and everyone is there to just let it all out and be comfortable with mounds of American eats.
It at least seems like this is more "farm-to-table" than the higher price-tagged city joints that use that phrase more for marketing. I don't know where Dienner's sources their food, but I'd like to think it comes from the local farms. Whatever the case may be, no one is mad because the price

I've heard nothing but praise about this restaurant so it was on our short list of places to try out when we couldn't decide on where to go. Located on Lincoln Highway in the heart of Lancaster's touristy area it was easy to find, with a large parking lot around back.
We used the back entrance up a ramp that lead us to a long hallway, eventually reaching the restaurant. I was a little confused as to if we seat ourselves but was told a hostess at the front of the building would seat us. For that reason I think it's best to use the front door instead of pushing your way thru
