When I tell you this was the best restaurant experience that I have had in years, I mean it. The ambiance was beautiful. Restaurant was clean and smelled so good. Our server Matthew, made us feel like he had known us for years. His knowledge of the menu and his pleasant demeanor was unmatched. Chef Carl was/is amazing!!!! we had the New York Strip, Filet, Lobster Fettuccini, Crabcake, truffle fries and butternut squash ravoli. Everything was soooooo fresh and well seasoned. Cooked to perfection. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was my friend's birthday and we were treated

Out of all the things I love about Gibraltar, consistency is at the top of the list. No matter who your server is, or if you sit at the bar, you get the best service around. On top of that the food is good EVERY SINGLE TIME. Times when my wife and I eat elsewhere to change it up we wish we would have just gone to Gibraltar :)

Outstanding experience at Gibraltar for my office holiday party. We had a private room that was perfect for our function. The food was amazing and the service was second to none. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the night special for everyone. A great place to celebrate for any occasion!

My husband and I went to Gibraltar for the first time tonight for our wedding anniversary. The food is absolutely amazing! Actually some of the best food I've eaten. The service was impeccable. The drinks from the bar were perfection. Obviously an experience like this is going to be quite pricey but it was absolutely worth every dollar spent. We will be back again for sure! We had such a lovely time.

The food here was delicious. Our server was attentive. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is we were seated in a poorly lit corner of the restaurant, so we had a hard time reading our menus. And when we asked the host if he could light the candle on our table, he was very short with us and said our server would do that.

Moved to Lancaster half a year ago,Friends choose Gibraltar Grille to congratulate us on our housewarming.
I like the seafood here, the creativity and taste of the dishes are amazing.
The restaurant environment is also nice, but there are no tablecloths on all tables, Disharmonious with the grade of the restaurant. During the pandemic, when I go to any restaurant, I have to wipe the table with paper towels and check the red wine glasses.
My favorite today is grilled squid. Thick and tender. Endless aftertaste. The taste of corbieres red wine in 2014 is also very good, only $49…

We never tried the food because we were treated rudely by Sal at the "greeting" station. We reserved an outdoor table but then asked if there was any availability at that early hour (5:00pm) for an indoor table. A rude and inhospitable response was the result. Ultimately and reluctantly he sat us down in a room with not another table occupied. The waiter promptly provided us with the wine lists. We were still so upset with how we were treated that we decided to leave and spend our hard earned money elsewhere and told Sal why we were not staying and would not return. The food might be

I travel often to PA, usually once a week or so as my father is in a nursing home in Lititz, so unwinding after a visit is important to me. I tend to go to a few usual places and wanted to break out to something different this time. One of my last visits was to a Thai place and I noticed another restaurant across the way and felt it would be more conducive to us.
My friend forgot to make the reservation, on a Friday no less, and so we went as a walk in. The place was packed and quite busy and we could see everyone moving at a maximum to handle the capacity.

My experience there has always been fantastic! Food is superb and staff is very nice. However, after last night, it's the last time we'll ever go back. It was my birthday and my family all flew in from California to celebrate. I made reservations from Sal himself 3 weeks prior while having dinner there. I had a party of 6 to eat in the Wine Room specifically. He guaranteed my request. Even called and texted 3 days in advance.
Well!!! We arrive and he unapologetically and pompously told me it's already taken by a party of 10. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! He said we'll go to

This is the kind of place I would normally leave 5 stars. The food was PHENOMENAL. Naturally gluten free seafood was next level. The atmosphere was very clean elegant and well spaced out. It was not crowded or noisy. Our server gram was very attentive polite and at our every beck and call. The drinks were absolutely delicious I had a pineapple blueberry mojito. The bartender was very polite and made excellent drinks. The hostess was very polite. Literally everything about our experience was terrific except the owner/front end manager Sal. He seemed very disrespectful to his hostess when she was

Great service! They called to confirm our reservation. Seated right away. Had they lobster ravioli which was absolutely amazing! Service was amazing!
Although they had an extensive wine list, the prices were absolutely ridiculous! $18-$20 bottles of wine that I personally buy, were $95-$120
Normally $50-$60 is what I usually pay at restaurants for those type of wines. Hence the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5

We had a really excellent meal here back in October. I was not comfortable dining indoors due to the pandemic, so we selected a table on their outdoor patio. Despite the cold temperatures, their heating lamps were actually surprisingly powerful! It was a lot cozier than I thought it would be. My filet was cooked perfectly and since I have some allergies, the staff replaced the mashed potatoes with roasted fingerlings and then gave me a side of steamed green beans. Everything was delicious. Their dessert menu looked incredible, but we were too full. I'm unsure if I'll be back in Lancaster

Gibralter is a treasure to which everyone should treat themselves. Absolutely fantastic. By far, the best restaurant in the area. From the knowledgable and friendly staff to the spectacular food, just brilliant. Never had a bad experience and on par with the best eateries I've experienced in NY. Can't wait to get back to regular status post-covid. . Keep up the great work everyone!! BRAVO!

Super good food! Just don't get Michael.
Our server, Michael, seems to have a chip on his shoulder. It seems his goal is to make everyone around him miserable. But try as he might, we didn't let his cold demeanor ruin our evening.
Every dish we ordered was impeccable. Bold flavors, beautiful plating, cooked to perfection.
The Kennet Square Mushrooms... WOW! A crispy polenta cake topped with buttery sauteed mushrooms and shaved parmigiana in a black truffle cream sauce. Might be my favorite appetizer ever.
And again, the entrees were friggin' fantastic. Absolutely no complains

My husband and I enjoy doing date nights, especially at new restaurants. I found Gibraltar via Opentable. I do recommend making a reservation as it seems to be relatively busy when we came on Saturday night. Finding it along with parking is super easy!

Classy restaurant with an upscale vibe. Our hostess was an attractive young woman who was friendly and had a great smile.
The service was stellar! Our server was professional knew the menu inside and out and was accommodating with all our questions regarding the menu.

Ordered the scallions, they were good on presentation, great on taste but waay to small on portions, I was thinking they
