It's cool because Gus did a lot for the people in the community and the family looks forward to carrying on his legacy as well has honoring the brother of Gus: John Rossakies - who was a long time partner to Gus. Costas Village bar is located at 35234 W. Michigan Avenue, in downtown Wayne, just east of the historic State Wayne Theatre.

I wanted to love it since it's a local place and family run. The service/waitress was friendly but terrible and unatentive. Food was very disappointing. Fried mushrooms we're something you'd just dump out if a bag and over done. Fish and chips... Batter flavor was ok, but greasy. Fish inside was good but for something they say is a specialty, not impressive. Tacos we're served incorrect and flavorless. The manager did replace the taco when she found out it was incorrect... (Waitress told us they were " out" of the kind we ordered), but they actually weren't. Then... The replacement was worse than

Costas Village Bar has some very great food and drinks. Their website is very cool and they have a very friendly atmosphere unlike what is was in the past. New owner is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. I will be eating again at Costas Village Bar because it is a bar with a history since the 1950s. An amazing neighborhood bar.

Just came in with a groupon and man did I enjoy the food. The bar tenders were very nice to us and I really loved the warm feel. My husband enjoyed the large TV's. One TV was 85 inches with very great resolution. On top of that, this place has like a game room with six pool tables and other games. I will defintely come back to this place, great local place with people who care.

This place was fantastic and had so much to offer. It had top notch customer service, food, and drinks. The kitchen was on top of their game and was pleasantly surprised how great the food was at such a fair price. I loved their big TV's when watching the Michigan vs. Michigan State Game. I will absolutely tell my friends to come to Costas Village Bar and will for sure be back!

Food was horrible, all my mother wanted was a steak for mother’s day this was the closest place to her building, the meat was unseasoned and did not taste fresh she loved the pita bread tho!! Affordable prices but Quality is terrible. Ordered Fish and chips for myself fish was ok but the portion was 3 small nuggets over a bed of hard over cooked fries!! This place needs a new cook ASAP!! Bring it back to life get some music going, friendly waiters and rid of the homeless people and people may return. This is a 1 and done spot!!

Don't bother with this place. I spent almost 9.50 on pizza, which WAS good, but when it was brought out, I noticed Theresa reaching right into my pizza, eating some pepperoni and cheese off the top of the pizza. For some reason I let that go, and enjoyed my pizza. I squared up with them on my card, and left a 15% tip. Apparently, that's not enough at this bar, because after that, they refused to serve me any water (even though they served me as much as I wanted before that) except for bottled water. It's not like I went in there, and didn't spend any money, and demanded they give me water. Unfortunately
