Services
Lighting services are a great way to add some dimension to your locks. You can get sun kissed and subtle with my custom Balayage or as bright as you desire with a traditional foil high light. These services are best to be discussed based off your commitment level to touch ups so you can achieve the best end results.
We are proud to offer hand tied, tape -in, and Clipped in extensions to meet every budget and desired appearance. We can help with that! Start by scrolling down and reading through the extensions services we offer. Once you fill out the digital consultation, a member of my team will assist you in finalizing your selections.

Loft 9.14 stylist are a combination of Booth-renters and commission based Contractors. Our mission is to provide a salon space and culture where you're able work a schedule that fits in to your lifestyle while earring an income you are proud of. Commission stylist chose to work 3-4 days a week, but can earn a full time schedule based on performance.

Kendall did an AMAZING job with my haircut!! I couldn't stop looking at myself all day, I was so in love with the look and feel of my new hair style. I'm very picky about who I let touch my hair and I told her this and how nervous I was to try a new stylist. I explained how I was feeling about my hair (tired of the length, too heavy, frizzy, feeling dry and looking boring) and showed her a few pictures of the style I wanted. Let me preface this by saying I came into the appointment after my 5th night shift so was exhausted and probably not as "aware" as I should have been.. I had called previously and sent pictures of exactly what I wanted- when I got there I was told I didn't have any highlights in (I have always had 2-3 highlights and VERY obvious in picture, but ok - wanted red - ended up being VERY dark brown - maybe a tinge of red in there but nothing close to what I wanted - then let's talk about the bangs - told her I wanted them just at eyebrow when dry ... let's just say it looks like

I went to 914 for the first time yesterday for a color touch-up and had the pleasure of having Monica as my stylist. Monica was fantastic. She listened to what my goal was, showed swatches, gave me an idea of what to expect, and then did her magic. My hair turned out perfect. In addition to her wonderful color and styling she had a great personality and was really easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

I got a full balayage from Amanda and it is gorgeous! She explained since I've been coloring my hair dark brown for so long that she couldn't guarantee the finished color, understandable. I wasn't worried judging by the reviews of this place and I was correct in my judgment, these ladies know how to bleach! My hair was even soft after the whole treatment. Her shop is adorable and has a great vibe, offers soda waters and snacks as well.

Yesterday I had my first appointment with Monica (for just a haircut) and she was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable, spunky and kind. She also asked me so many questions and made it so that she understood exactly what I wanted and I must say she definitely nailed it! I am obsessed with my cut!! 10/10 would recommend this salon. It was very clean and inviting and an overall wonderful experience. Will be back again in a few months :)

I'm giving 3 stars becuz of my overall experience w/this salon...I've been here several times over the years, and all of my appointments were good except the last one. The prior appointments were with the owner. the salon grew and I ended up with her assistant last time -- a nightmare experience in terms of customer service, and becuz of that experience, I'll never return unless that chic is GONE. Anyway, altho my hair turned out ok. I didn't get the cut or style I wanted becuz the color took so long, but perhaps that's a good thing.

Iri is amazing!!! She listens to what I wanted and explained every step so there were never any surprises! She's very knowledgeable about the products that would be suitable for my hair type! Iri saved my hair!!! Coming from a person with super thin hair, excessive hair loss and unable to grow her hair past her shoulders. I had lost all hope and depended on hair extensions for any event! Until iri! She recommended the products she knew would help, answered every doubt I had and was super knowledgeable about the products! April did a color correction on my hair a few months back, and I enjoyed my time with her. She made sure she understood what I wanted and was even listening to some of the techniques I use to style my textured hair. (I have a decent amount of knowledge on how hair color and styling works). I had used black box dye in my hair previously, and she lightened and added great dimension to my hair in just one session, with little to no damage.
Unfortunately, I decided to go to a dark brown again, so I most likely will be seeing April again in a few months!

Half of my bottom hair was boxed dyed red then Chocolate brown the other upper half was dyed professionally to match the chocolate brown . She knew that we talked about it before she did my balayage .I asked for her to get it as light as possible since I was planing of going blonde for summer and that I liked it high . Of course it's a process and I knew that since I'd boxed dyed it . I love loft 9.14!! They make the effort to accommodate me so last minute in my travels to california, Jamie and Amanda are amazing and so nice and laid back, it's nice to know that the hustle and bustle of a big city, there is a salon with that small charm, and being a hairdresser myself, they sure know how to tone like champs, and listen too!!!
