Here is just a little about us. Socal Vows officially began in 2009 as a team of officiants. As local pastors we were frequently asked to help officiant wedding ceremonies. We brought a very unique style to wedding officiating as a whole.

For many the beginning of the journey into marriage travels through the past by connecting with all or some traditional elements. A beautiful white dress, Pachelbel's Canon, the giving of the bride, and a unity candle are just some of the elements that a traditional wedding ceremony entails. We will work with the couple to customize the ceremony to their desires and specifications - after all, it is your big day and we are here to serve you!
Traditional weddings are expensive and can take up to a year to plan, which is why we created our complete beach wedding package. For under $2300 you can have that intimate beach wedding that you dreamed. We have done hundreds of intimate ceremonies, and we learned from our couples that they would love to have had the opportunity to have chairs, arch, and special music for the bride as she walked down the aisle.
Why spend a ton of money when you can have an intimate personalized ceremony with a few of your closest family and friends? San Diego has amazing beaches and great weather all year long for couples elope to San Diego. It sure beats a quick wedding in Las Vegas or the sterile feel of a county courthouse.
Significant milestones in marriage are often celebrated with a couple renewing their commitment to each other through a renewal of vows ceremony. There are a variety of meaningful elements to a vow renewal ceremony and I will work with you to ensure the second time around is just as memorable as the first!

I found So Cal Vows on the internet. Our wedding coordinator was Penjo who was amazing and funny. They have amazing packages to choose from. I was very particular about certain things for my wedding and a little skeptical about choosing a company I found on the internet and planning everything over the phone. However, Penjo and her staff made sure my day was perfect and PERFECT it was. I was in disbelief when I arrived to the site and seen the set up I couldn't believe they had created my dream Hawaii wedding on the beaches of La Jolla. I wish I could give a good rating but I can't. From start to finish communication was difficult. Penjo did not listen to what we envisioned for the ceremony. Apparently they have a cookie cutter version of the ceremony and, when I indicated that was not what we wanted, Penjo was more concerned about her fee (which I assured her we were willing to pay regardless) than giving us the ceremony envisioned by the bride and groom. Additionally, we paid extra for a white tulip bridal bouquet which turned out to be an awkwardly large, heavy mass of maybe some type of tulip which was put together with

SocalVows kept in contact when they said they would and provided approximate dates when they would ask us some very important questions about our ceremony.

I planned a destination wedding for my daughter from Texas. I was very stressed but it worked out so beautifully!! Penjo was incredibly helpful during the planning and always responded quickly to all my questions. She is very experienced and professional. I was very hesitant to write this review, but something about how things were handled just bothers me enough to ultimately decide to. My fiance and I were planning on getting married, so we chose this vendor to help us with that. Long story short, they were extremely unprofessional and that should have been a red flag from the jump. We had an amazing experience with SoCal Vows. Not only were there flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, but they also checked up on us closer to the wedding date to make sure we were prepared. Our officiant, Ken, came in a timely manner and helped explained the marriage license and certificate process before the ceremony.
During our ceremony, Ken made it seem like he knew us for years. Very personable, so much that guests asked if we knew each other before the wedding! He seems like the type of guy who can do this in his sleep. You are in good hands with SoCal Vows!

My good friend just used Socal Vows for her 10 year vow renewal ceremony in La Jolla and they were fantastic! I was there to help with setup and logistics, and basically had nothing to do because Penjo, Amanda and team did everything. Trying to plan a last minute intimate 50 year vow renewal (in the middle of a pandemic) from the east coast for my parents was an intimidating feat.... knowing only that we will be vacationing in southern California but not knowing the area at all. But Penjo and her team put me at ease and recommended a breathtaking location in Dana Point easily accessible for my eldery parents, provided the most caring officiant Ken and a photographer Xavier that risked his life for the perfect photo. Such a perfect experience! My husband and I didn't really know where to begin with planning our elopement in San Diego since we were coming from Arizona, but after one conversation with Ken we felt confident that our day would be amazing and we weren't disappointed. This company allowed my husband and I to have our dream wedding in the middle of a pandemic that was AFFORDABLE, SAFE, and BEAUTIFUL in SIX WEEKS. Once again, we had out dream wedding planned and completed in SIX WEEKS. We were able to get married at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, which holds a special place in our hearts.
