What is your Denomination? Although we are Christians, we serve our couples as a Non-Denominational Chaplains. This allows us to better serve our couples and help in acknowledging their beliefs and faiths. The benefit of using a Chaplain is; We serve couples without a hidden religious or personal agenda.
We firmly believe that not one Officiant/Celebrant can be the end all - be all to every couple. Each one has their own merits in style, personality and presentation. We are the fun, happy and lighthearted type of Chaplains. We tell our couples that if they are looking for the long winded, poetic and reading from a book type of Officiant, that's not us!
We wish we had the simple answer for you. We see local San Diego Officiant services on WeddingWire and The Knot that vary from $250 to $795 (even a few over $1,000). We also see Officiants from Orange and Los Angeles counties who would love to spend the weekend in San Diego and charge even higher rates.
Each County in the State of California issues Public and Confidential Marriage Licenses however, each County may have different rules on how to obtain and fees. Please check with your local California County Clerk for this information. Update: A State of California confidential (non-public) marriage license may be issued in any County and used in any County in the State.
Serving as a Wedding Chaplain, Christopher has the ability to honor the various faiths and beliefs of couples in search of an advisor or in some cases, spiritual advisor helping to make their ceremony a true reflection of who they are without personal judgment and without any spiritual or religious agenda.

I can't say enough good things about Rev. Christopher and his team! I have worked with him at weddings on many occasions over the years. He made my job much easier as a videographer. He's a warm, compassionate, and hilarious man. Each ceremony that he leads is very personal and special. He makes everyone feel important and as though he's known them for a long time. Can't recommend Rev. Tuttle enough! He was to be the first officiant to be interviewed, but we walked away from our introductory meeting confident that we wanted him to speak at our wedding. On our wedding day, he was prompt, professional, and amazing. We've been to a lot of weddings, but no other officiant was as comfortable and as great a speaker as Rev. Tuttle. Rev. Christopher Tuttle made our wedding ceremony so special! He conducted a non-denominational ceremony and had us tailor everything so it was specifically ours. He made the process so easy for us! Our wedding guests kept asking how long we had known Rev. Tuttle by the way he spoke during the ceremony. He never read straight off his pages and always looked at us or the audience. I met the Rev many years ago when I was interning for a wedding planner. I knew many years before I was engaged that this was the man for the job. I was lucky I knew who I was getting as an officiant, because I had seen him in action! When the time came and I had my fiancé we called him up and again I knew I had the guy. Mary was our officiant at our non-religious wedding in San Diego last month. She was AMAZING! From our first meeting, we were impressed with how knowledgeable, warm, and above all, professional she was. She listened to our needs and was respectful of what we wanted from our ceremony.

I had reached out to Chris a few weeks ago in regards to their philanthropic "Military Mondays" and Chris and his wife Mary went above our wildest expectations and gave us the most perfect elopement ceremony. Picking an officiant to marry us was one of the important things on my list. I usually follow my gut, and in this case I wanted Rev. Tuttle with Vows From the Heart. Ask and ye shall receive; we asked for a simple and beautiful ceremony that reflected our love of eachother, and of our friends and family that were in attendance. We received exactly that.
Although parts of the ceremony feel like a blur, Mary prepared us for success and provided an amazing ceremony that received excellent feedback from our families and friends.
Mary didn't make the ceremony "all about her" and she knew the perfect length to be short and sweet (what we wanted) while still being full of value and importance. It was a very meaningful 30 minutes

Finding an officiant was one of the harder things for me to do during our wedding planning.
