Knowledgeable, patient, and informative. That is how I describe Casey and Crystal (his lovely assistant) at the Barton Springs location. Just great people doing great work! I was a week away from back surgery and avoided it with the professional and compassionate care of Leeda Rasoulian at Austin Manual Therapy!
According to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), approximately one-third of the population will experience neck pain in any given year. It can get worse if left untreated, and in severe cases, surgery may even be needed. Neck pain can cause debilitating and extremely uncomfortable sensations, especially if the pain stretches from your neck down to your shoulders.
Physical therapy isn't normally someone's first thought when they have a headache - most of the time, the common reaction is to take some form of pain-relieving medication. This may help to relieve pain in the short-term, but if you are constantly suffering from headaches or migraines, pain relief drugs will not provide you with the same long-term effects that physical therapy will.

I always get positive results after I have a session with Elaine Tsay. 5 years ago I had neck and upper back pain and she gave me the tools to eliminate my pain and this time with my hip and lower back. She is extremely knowledgeable, listens, is caring, encouraging and upbeat! She has endless energy and motivates me to do my exercises to continue to live an active life.

Since I've had 2 knee replacements and now am receiving help for sciatica, I can say without reservation that Austin Manual Therapy is the only place I would ever go to. In fact a year ago, a friend said that her husband had been going to physical therapy with poor results, so I recommended Austin Manual Therapy. He was delighted with the results. At one physical therapy group I had tried because their name was on a list from my orthopedic surgeon', the therapist pushed me into exercises like she was training Simone Biles. I was over 70 then and the treatment hurt then and afterwards. For my second

Austin Manual Therapy Associates is the best PT clinic I have ever gone to. Two different PT offices misdiagnosed me before I went to see AMT co-owner James Harris, who got the true picture quickly and started effective therapy. He took the time to really get to know me, not just my injuries. I have never felt rushed through, and have always been treated with patience and a smile by everyone I’ve encountered at the clinic. If you need PT, hobble over to AMTA!
