I left crying at least three times. My tooth would chip, she would drill so hard that I had a root canal every six months. My best friend had a horrible experience and so did my 82 year old grandmother. I just wanted a nice smile and advice on cleaning my teeth. Hopefully a good dentist is out there for me.

Dr Bernardi is my new dentist, after being with my previous (now retired also beloved) dentist of 20 years. I could not be happier being with Dr. Bernardi. She is professional and a very nice lady. She's really good, saved me from getting a root canal this year. I love that I found her. Norma, the receptionist is fantastic. She calls me each time there's a cancelation to be filled. Do not go to Dr. Bernardi: she misdiagnosed my 82 year old mother, telling her she needed three root canals when she needed none, as well as misdiagnosing my daughter and another person. She is not to be trusted:
Dr. Fliener, whom she bought the practice from, was an amazing man.
She is all about the upsell, and to mislead my mother, who is fragile, breaks my heart: run don't walk.....

I had a great experience. I got a thorough cleaning from Rosalind. She was absolutely amazing. I had a lot of build up because I didn't see a dentist for several years. Rosalind made me feel at ease and worked meticulously on each tooth. Dr. Bernardi was also thorough with my examination. I didnt feel rushed or pressured to do procedures that weren't necessary. I'm grateful to have a Hygienist + Dentist combo who really care about the health of my teeth. I initially met Dr. Bernardi because, when I first moved to Los Angeles and needed a dentist, someone recommended I try going to Dr. Fleiner -- Dr. Bernardi later took over his practice in what I felt was an extremely smooth, painless transition from my perspective as a patient. Great customer service by Norma at the front desk and Dr. Bernardi and back office staff. I was dealing with tooth pain and Dr Bernardi quickly accepted me to come in same day i called. Very caring. Dr Bernardi respects all of your concerns and carefully explains what's going with your teeth and/or what the plan of action is. I recommend this dental office to everyone.

Dr. Bernardi called me immediately after this post, apologized, and is sending me a refund on money paid. I really appreciate her calling me personally and doing this. This is an indication of strong character in my book and I will consider returning to her as a patient.
I had been a patient of Dr. Fleiner's for many years of whom Dr. Bernardi bought the business from. In the beginning I had noticed that there was quite a bit of turn over from the previous Dr. Fleiner patients including several of my family members but I wanted to give Dr. Bernardi a chance.

After years of putting off the dentist due to traumatic past experiences I decided that it was time for a check up. Dr. Bernardi was able to fit me in and schedule me very last minute. I was looking for a caring and gentle dentist, which is exactly what I found. Dr. Bernardi was recommended by a friend because her staff is so warm and makes you feel very comfortable. I knew going in I was going to need fillings and a possible root canal... she referred me to a specialist and I'll finally repair the years of damage to my teeth!

I visited Dr. Bernardi yesterday and was very happy with her services. She was particularly caring and attentive to my comfort. When I told her I hated the suction device which hooks into your mouth, she directed her assistant to remove it and use it only as needed. Also, I expected to hear I needed a crown for one particular tooth but she advised against it in case the tooth needed more work (if so, the crown would have possibly gone to waste). And so, even though the crown would have cost much more than the filling I received, she had my best interest at heart in recommending we forgo it for
