So many stars for Uptown China. We love it here. The staff has consistently been so kind and sweet to us and the food has not disappointed. My partner and I are vegetarian and I'm gluten free. Between the plant based menu and their ability to adapt most items to gluten free, I feel so welcome here! The staff is knowledgeable about their options and will go above and beyond to help you get what you need. And they make a strong Mai Tai! :-)

I would give the food a 3 and a half 1/2 but the interior a 3. The staff were pretty absent and I felt the prices were a little high for the amount of food, it was mostly veggies after all. I would be fine with more vegetables less meat if they were perfectly cooked but they were surprisingly hot but a little over Al dente. I don't like my carrots not to almost snap.

Portions were large, and delivered quickly (and hot) to the table, even when restaurant was quite busy. Went before a Kraken game with limited time to dilly dally, but service was attentive and quick enough that we still had time to spare after finishing everything.

I have never experienced such flavorless food. Vegetables have zero flavor, I’ve tried multiple dishes to make sure I wasn’t getting a dud but they are all the same—bland, flavorless, and in desperate need of dumping any sauce you can find all over it. I’ve tried their lo mein noodles, fried rice, and now mu shu chicken. I don’t understand how they’ve been around so long and have such high ratings which is why I made sure to give it three tries before making a judgment call. Bummer because they are so close to me.

Visited this place while in Seattle. I quick walk from my hotel. AWESOME Chinese food! Although menu looks the same as our East coast places, food was prepared a bit differently, different sauces, few different ingredients, etc. The food here was some of the best I have ever had! Services was excellent, friendly. Even got some drinks.. I had a Kraken and coke ( (NHL OFFICIAL DRINK-Seattle kraken start soon) and a Chinese Margaritas.. both excellent. This is definitely on my "gotta come back" list.

Love the environment and especially the customer service. You'll feel welcome and well attended. This is a little jewel in Lower Queen and I'm glad still open for business.

Was visiting Seattle on Labor Day and searching for dinner after visiting the space needle. A lot of testy were closed so we found this restaurant within walking distance. Based on the reviews, we had high hopes, but were let down. Food was not good and lacked any flavor. Waitress acknowledged that we hadn't eaten much and apologized stating that she'd tell the cook. Wasn't your traditional Chinese food and nothing authentic. Maybe Chinese food is better in Cali.

Overall good dining ezperience. Started with the bbq pork tenderloin followed by entrees of Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken. The food was pretty standard for Chinese in the seattle area and we were happy with the serving size / value.

We ordered enough takeout for 5 people and it was all hot, fresh and delicious upon arrival. I'm the only vegetarian in the group but everyone agreed my Salt and Pepper tofu was the best dish we ordered. The fried rice, garlic broccoli, and cashew chicken were also winners.

At this point in the last 3 months I've been here, this is the second Americanized Chinese restaurants I've been to and I have to admit, this one was pretty good. I couldn't give it the greatest rating because I was disappointed in the quantity for the price I pay, but there isn't a lot of Americanized Chinese food spots in the area so I can see how they have the upper hand of charging a lot. I got this delivered to my place which was a huge bonus points because they were super fast. The negative side was that the food comes in some boxes and they aren't really filled up

Love the sense of humor as shown in the sign out front! We got takeout from here: mandarin wings and spring rolls! Both were delicious! The wings were cooked perfectly, and the mandarin sauce was very tasty. They have a great lunch special too, but we missed it...ends at 3. We would definitely eat there again!

Service was good but it wasn't that busy when we dined there.

I'd say their appetizers are pretty good. I liked the chewy thicker skin for the potstickers. I also liked the salt and pepper chicken wings since they serve them lollipop-style (the less meaty end of the drumsticks were trimmed back to reveal the bone which made it easier to eat).

The egg flower soup was good - reminded me of what my parents used to make at home when I was a kid.

The seafood chow funn was fine but didn't have much variety of seafood. Our order had 4-5 shrimps and one piece of scallop.

I liked

Very decent Chinese food here. Consistent, prepared quickly.

The lunch special is a good deal, entree coming with a soup, egg-roll, and choice of fried rice or steamed rice

They've been on Queen Anne for a long time I hope they stay for many more years to come!

I always find it really weird when Yelp and google have drastically different reviews for the same restaurant and that was the case for this restaurant so I thought why not just try it!

Food was fine, wish my chicken (walnut chicken) was a little crispier. My chicken also didn't come with rice so I had to order a side of rice which I always find weird. Overall, the service was good and the food was decent.

The are doing dine in now and have drink options as well! What's also funny is that they have a discounted drink if you have shoes on so don't forget your shoes! (Sandals worked

I hate to give a bad review to a restaurant during the Coronavirus, but the food and service were particularly awful. This order was on Christmas Eve--which is probably not the best night to order takeout, but that does not excuse what happened.

I ordered food at 5:45 and was told pickup would be in 90 minutes. I was there at 7:15, but did not get my food until 8:40. It was an absolute madhouse with around 25 people waiting for their food and no guidance on when food would be ready. They clearly accepted way too many orders and were just overwhelmed. I felt bad for the person who was working

This place is terrible. We ordered at 4:35 it said give them an hour to pick it up. I got there at 6 (COVID and Christmas businesses, I figured I would give them extra time). When I got there it had a lot of people hanging around inside waiting for their food. I asked the owner, Yu (who was working the front desk), about the order. She went in the back for a moment, came back out, and stated that they were busy and it would be another 25 minutes. I was frustrated, but understood, took a walk and came back.

When I got back there were more people waiting, inside, and now Yu was making drinks at

I'm extremely impressed and happy I found my new Chinese food go-to. I've been looking for a spot that serves classic Chinese food recipes and Uptown China does just that, and they do it well! I loved my meal and have plenty of leftovers!

Beef Lo mein hit the spot, general tso's chicken was impressive with large pieces of chicken - I'd never seen it come more organically, egg flower soup was awesome, and uptown rangoons were pretty and delicious.

Will definitely order again. Thank you, Yu Mei!

It's just okay. Nothing special and it's overpriced. Their generals chicken is 6 dollars more than it should be with not a lot of flavor. I've had much better Chinese food in Lynnwood. Seattle usually has amazing Chinese food. Not sure why this place has close to five star rating. The generals also had about only 8 pieces of chicken so 2 dollars a piece is kinda nuts
