Melting Pot Pizza
If you like good pizza you'll find a lot to rave about with ours. We still use the original dough recipe of pure olive oil and butter. Every step in its preparation is consistent and is made fresh daily on the premises. Our sauces, fresh cut produce, lean meats, and our choice of aged provolone cheese (which we use exclusively) reflect our commitment to excellence and the end result is presented to you with pride.

The Melting Pot Pizza was first made available in 1970 at the Old Skyline Restaurant on the south side of Front Royal. In April of 1972 we bought the land and building which is now the Melting Pot Pizza. The day we bought the business I had 64 cents to my name. Fortunately an old time banker in town gave me a small loan for operating expenses.

We've been coming here for years but I'm almost embarrassed to say that the only thing we ever order is the "All The Way" pizza. It's unique. Thin crust baked just right and generous toppings of the finest quality. Our favorite pizza in the whole world!! And the service is always excellent and friendly. Be aware that they don't accept credit cards. Only cash or checks. There is an ATM on the premises if needed.

When we got there, we were told there was already a 45 minute wait for pizza and there was only 2 other small groups sitting in the restaurant. We had nowhere else to go so we ordered anyways. Our pizza actually arrived in about 10-15 minutes and it was worth the wait. We ordered the Lunch Special of a Large Pizza get 2 drinks free. Our meal came out to a little over $16 for both of us. The pizza had a thin crust, but still had some chew to it. There was sufficient sauce and they use provolone instead of mozzarella cheese. Overall, it was excellent. The lunch crowd confirmed it. We were there on

Had a great time with the wife and kid! Friendly staff! Enjoyed some beers while waiting for our amazing pizza to come out. If you're not familiar they do not accept card. Check or cash only. Well worth the pit stop on your way through Front Royal VA!

I've heard alot about this place and decided to check it out for myself. The atmosphere and service were great; everyone is really nice there. However, the pizza seems to be made with lite sauce which doesn't have much of a taste, nor does the cheese or the dough.

Excellent pizza, good service. The turkey sub however was low effort. Swear I could make a better one in ten minutes let alone forty (add some seasoning perhaps?).
The lovely warm pizza sure made up for it though.

We were so excited to return to melting pot after we had their pizza about six months ago and absolutely loved it. But unfortunately this time it just wasn't as good it was lacking something ....too little cheese, overdone crust, couldn't really come to any conclusion as to why we didn't really like it. Sally our waitress was very pleasant and very accommodating with all our request she made our lunch fun!

Absolutely delicious food and awesome service. The thin crust on their pizzas is one of the best I’ve had. Be aware, the don’t accept cards so bring cash with you to avoid the ATM fee.

It speaks volumes when I allow my 13-year old son to recommend a place for a Sunday Funday and we end up driving from Ashburn to Front Royal to get PIZZA! BEST road trip ever! The pizza was worth the drive and the hospitality shown by our server Kim (Kimberly) was so perfect. For once in a longgg time, I had ZERO complaints because our server Rocked! She was on it, she made us feel welcomed and even provided us history of the restaurant. So needless to say, I'm recommending to my Company, my friends because this is a nice little secret that I'm glad my son was able to overhear about at

Great place. Stopped on our way to Shenandoah for a holiday. Service was great and the pizza was yummmm. I am a NYer and a pizza snob and this place has a legit thin crust. Onion rings are delish.

This is the best pizza place in Front Royal. The Latino lady cooking was rocking by herself and didn’t miss a beat. She was very good at her job and my pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten on the lower east coast in a very very long time if at all.

The food is always great I must say. However, they lost a star for me because I feel personally that they are overpriced. I will admit that they do have a great family atmosphere and they have been in business a long time. So if you are looking for a good family restaurant, you should stop in.

Good tasting pizza, love the fact that it's thin crust and loaded with veggies. They only take cash or checks which is a bit inconvenient. A bit on the pricey side. I got veggie pizza and love the crispy edges.

What the heck... this is the best pizza spot from Luray to Front Royal! We come through here monthly and I never even knew. Also, I've NEVER been to a cleaner pizza place, and I'm a New Yorker. Will stop by here again, pizza is also amazing! Try the Special sauce.

My standard to beat is papa John's and that isnt a high standard. This place appears to be a local favorite and I always like visiting those.

Ordered the veggie and buffalo pizza. Both pizzas were generous with toppings. The crust was crispy. My buffalo pizza was very wet and the veggie pizza was done well.

I am not sure why but the pizza just didnt seem to click. The elements of a fantastic pizza were there but the combination just didn't deliver.

Perhaps it was an off day but I would recommend this place for pizza if Papa John's was not an option.

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and traditional wings. The pizza was good but not out of this world good. There's definitely better pizzerias out there but this is a good local one I guess. The wings were better than the pizza however, I ordered them extra spicy and they were basically mild. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if I'm ever in town craving pizza I'd pick this over the regular pizza chains.

This is by far the best pizza I've ever had and I've eaten pizza all over the country and even in Italy! My preferred order is a large with extra cheese, sausage, and pepperoni! I also prefer the regular sauce, although my mom and husband like the pizazz sauce, which is a bit spicier and has more garlic. All of their pizzas are thin crust. Their wings are good too! Make sure you have cash or check because they don't take any cards!
