First time guest at the Berlin Resort. Great hotel for families with kids. Loved the pool, private movie theater and the kids village. Staff was very friendly and helpful… great recommendation on pizza!! Loved the self serve waffles at breakfast. Easy access to Berlin and Millersburg. We will be back to this hotel again!

The hotel was fine. I’m mostly writing this review of the spa. My husband and I came here this weekend to celebrate our honeymoon. We booked a couples massage last month. The way to book a couples massage is to text the lady’s phone number. I got a text Monday saying we had to have separate massages because someone called off. Which was fine. We had a long drive in Thursday and Friday morning( the day of our massages) neither one of us were feeling well. I texted the phone number 2 hours prior to our appointments to cancel. What a great stay! We had two different rooms as the same Room wasn't available for two nights. The staff did great getting our new room cleaned quickly so we could get re-settled down.
The signature suites are fantastic.
I wish their was some food on sight. With having such a great room we didn't want to leave to get food. (We knew this going in, there is a basic breakfast).

Fantastic customer service, beautiful rooms, loved the relaxing hotel grounds and glider on our balcony! The pool and hot tub were nice and clean! Delicious breakfast especially the cinnamon rolls! Excellent stay and would recommend and return for sure! We were there for a Women of Worth Retreat and they took great care of us!

Overall it was a great place to take the family. The kids had a great time in the children's village.The movie theater building has an actual screen that plays kids movies, and each building encourages the kids to use their creativity. Feeding the fish was always a stop on our walks. We saw the local sites during the day, enjoyed a movie in the actual movie theater room and then swam in the salt water pool. The work out facility was great!
The staff was polite, facilities clean and noone ever got bored the price was reasonable and we had a blast.

This place is pretty great, we stayed in one of the nicer suites with two queens. Lots of space in the room, bathroom was awesome with a hot tub and a waterfall shower. The best part of this place is the extras. There is a movie theater, playground, several nice patios, heated pool and a large area for walking or playing games outdoors. There is even a coy pond. Staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was above average for a hotel with several hot items to choose from daily. I'd highly recommend this place as both a destination on it's own and a great place to stay while visiting Amish country

Safety does not appear to be a major concern at Berlin Resort. I walked in to see two employees sitting maskless on a bench in the lobby. One would later be behind the front desk for check in. There was no request or enforcement of masks for guests in the lobby either. Very disappointed to see this on a day with over 7,000 new cases of Covid in Ohio.

Had a fantastic stay at the Berlin Resort early January. The pool was smaller than I expected but was still a nice amenity. The hot tub, sauna & steam room were amazing! It was so nice to get out of the sauna & take a look outside at all the snow. The spa was closed on the day we checked in (New Years day) but the woman was not very friendly when I called & seemed annoyed when I attempted to ask about the hours on the next day so I just decided to not do a massage while in town.

This is our favorite place to stay when traveling to Holmes County. The rooms are very nice and the price is excellent. They have nice touches like warm cookies at check-in. The property has so much to do for kids. Generally after 6:00 pm there is not much to do in the area so having activities at the hotel is great. The grounds offers gazebos, walking trails, and coy ponds. There are fire pits that you can use. We love the playhouse village for kids and playground is awesome. Inside they have a theater room and decent pool area. Breakfast bar in the morning gives some variety if your not planning

There's so many accommodation choices in Amish Country but I was looking for a little more updated room with hotel amenities and came across this resort on Expedia. Upon arrival, we walked through a maze of hallways to find the elevator to the 3rd floor. From the front desk area which shared the breakfast room to the hallways, it seems outdated and a little confusing at first. However, once we opened the door to our suite, we were pleasantly surprised how roomy and attractive our suite was. There was a giant shower and jetted tub for two, separate from the sink and toilet of the bathroom

There is plenty to do on the grounds, some free recreational activities include the trail, pitch & putt, children's playground & village, salt water pool, movie theatre, daily breakfast, and more! We planned some time ago to visit Berlin, once I came across the Groupon special and read the reviews I knew this was the place to stay. All the employees were great, the breakfast was nice and similar to other quality hotels. We liked the fact they leave open the coffee, tea and juices machines 24 hours a day. That was nice if you wanted a juice or tea before bed. We enjoyed the fish ponds, theater, and Fire pits in the evening. If you need a clean place to sleep check out the groupon special for the Berlin Resort.

The beds were comfortable and the pillows were fine but I like a little more variety in the softness of the pillows. The rooms have a refrigerator but no microwave or coffee maker. There is coffee and other beverages available 24 hours a day in the lobby however.
The free breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast buffet. There were pre-made omelettes, ham, a waffle maker (although the waffles I thought were a little rubbery), a few bagels and a toaster, oatmeal and other cereals. I was surprised with this being Amish country

We stayed there May 18-29, 2018 coming to town for a chocolate tour. Due to a problem with the credit card company travel unit, our reservation wasn't there. After driving five hours, I was dismayed. Chase at the front desk was kind and patient even called another hotel to see if our reservation was there. They were very honest to tell me that the only room left was underneath the kitchen area and next to the mechanical room ; hence, it is dubbed the noisy room. With fans on, the noise was blocked. This was not an enjoyable experience. The bathroom was the biggest problem area. The water from the sink and the bathtub continued to come out dark brown which made this impossible to use the shower or sink. The bathmat that was provided in the bathtub was very disgusting. The toilet paper roll in the bathroom had not even been changed from the previous guests. I understand that things happen however when explaining this to the people at the front desk when They asked how our stay was, they did not offer anything to compensate for our unenjoyable experience nor did they even ask how they could
