Happy Days Daycare & Preschool is a safe and caring place for your child to grow and learn. It is owned by a mom who understands the stresses of working parents and wants to make it as easy as possible when needing to place your child in daycare. Happy Days believes each child is a unique individual and ensures that each child's particular needs are met.
While we do provide structure and have some general rules, we also work to accommodate parental wishes to the best of our abilities. We have an OPEN DOOR policy and we welcome parents to stop by any time. If you are a new parent and going back to work for the first time, we encourage you to come by at lunch and spend as much time as your schedule might allow.

Services
Happy Days Daycare & Preschool offers full time or part time child care services for including before and after school care. A two week written notice of your intent must be provided. If you choose not to bring your child for the full 2 weeks you will still need to pay for that final period. The director reserves the right to dis-enroll any child and she deems is inappropriate for attendance at the day care and preschool.
I just wanted to take a minute and let you all know how much you have meant to our family over the past 3 years. It has been such a relief on a day-to-day basis knowing that my children are being cared for by people I can trust and who I've seen care for them almost as much as we do. Finding infant care that is reliable and trustworthy can be a stressful process for new mothers. We at Happy Days understand this fact and we work hard to provide a loving and caring environment for all of the children in our care. We also recognize that all children are unique individuals and believe that children learn by seeing, imitating and experiencing a variety of activities.
Toddler care at Happy Days is a unique experience! We ease all of the children into the toddler care program from the infant care program. Comfort and confidence is the of the utmost importance for making this transition. Besides seeing other children that have made the transition, the new toddlers will learn how to make new friends that they will grow with until their Happy Days Graduation prior to kindergarten.

We have had all three of our kids at Happy Days since the age of 3 months and our oldest is 6. They helped us enormously when I was hospitalized and were the only daycare that would work with part time hours in the area that we were comfortable. There was a transition from when the former director retired as well as some staff turn over and it was a bit chaotic but all of that seems to have been smoothed out. Any questions or issues we've had have been speedily resolved each and every time over the last six years. It's a clean, caring environment where they teach and play with the children

We brought our infant here from 3months-6months. It was a second choice daycare as we waited for an opening at our first choice daycare. The best thing about this place were the infant teachers. They have since left, so there is no reason to bring your kids here. The daycare is a mess, they lost our payment once, and it's kind of gross in there. We moved our son to Dorothy's Discovery Daycare, and while it's more expensive, it's a much better place, and they treat their staff better. I am so glad we only needed to go here for a few months. I would honestly look elsewhere

After having a nightmare experience with a home daycare I used I found Happy Days and let me tell you it truly is HAPPY there! my little girl went from not being able to walk at 1yr to walking in less than a month of being there! her communication skills are that of a 4-5 year old, she speaks so clearly! Her pediatrician says she's highly intelligent and more advanced than other kids her age.
Happy Days really makes you as a parent feel comfortable, I don't worry or get sad or wonder what is going on I know she is in the best hands! I trust ALL of Happy Day's staff!

My son attended Happy Days starting at 4 months old until he turned 3. The only reason we left is because we moved from Ypsi to Tecumseh and it was too far for us to drive to everyday.
I cannot say enough good things about the Happy Days staff. They cared for him like he was one of their own. And when we found out he had an egg allergy, they were extremely accommodating and very careful about everything he was given. I never had to worry when he was in their hands.

Our son was the second child at Happy Days and this place was a life saver! After our first daycare didn't leave us with "warm and fuzzies" our search was on for a place our infant could call home and Happy Days was it!
It has been great to be able to be involved and feel like his care is more of an extended family rather than a "center".
