The staff of Little Angels is committed to providing a high-quality program for children and their families. Our program is designed to enhance the cognitive, physical, social, and creative skills of each child.
Encouraging kids to walk around barefoot, wherever possible, is the best thing you can do for growing feet. Podiatrists say it helps the muscles develop and get stronger. The bare foot functions almost like a sense organ, feeling subtleties of changing terrain while walking and playing, and making countless small adjustments in how each step is taken.
Biologist John Lubbock once wrote, "Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountains and sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books." At Little Angels Preschool & Daycare in Ypsilanti we focus on growing the WHOLE child, not just academically, but also their character and well-being.

Our 3 year old son has been attending Little Angels since he was 3 months old and they have been absolutely wonderful for his development and are a very inclusive environment. I've never doubted their level of care and now that he's old enough to talk, he tells us how much he likes it there and we can tell he learns so much there.
The administration is easy to work with and the teachers are amazing. The meals are quality food and are very convenient. They offer lots of outdoor play and fun activities. Each class has a private Facebook group where they post photos. I love seeing the photos of my

My family has been part of the Little Angels community for 4 years and they truly are a slice of heaven. My daughter loves the freedom of outside play, my son loves the arts and crafts, and I love how much they learn while playing. The teachers emphasize the social skills kids will need to be successful in school, as well as help them develop emotional awareness and master motor skills. The teachers are patient and kind and passionate about early education. I also appreciate the hot meals (breakfast AND lunch and afternoon snack) - the variety keeps it interesting and the healthy choices ensures

Little Angels has been a great place for our daughter. Our daughter has been there since she was an infant and it is wonderful to see how they adapt each room and activities to the children's age. The staff are attentive and caring and I have always felt comfortable leaving our daughter in their care. They have a great outdoor space for the kids with lots of different play areas for all of the classes. They are also exceptionally proactive and thoughtful when it comes to developing COVID safety procedures while still making it a welcoming environment for the children (and trying to include as much

I can't speak highly enough of Little Angels. My oldest son has been there for three years, and my youngest has been there now for just over a year. The staff has been so caring to my boys. They are so professional, and have a true passion for what they are doing. They bring absolute joy to my life with how much they care for my children. Both boys lives have been positively impacted by their time at Little Angels, and I can't thank the staff enough for their influence on my littles.

Little Angels has been my first experience with daycare and I could not have chosen a better daycare. My daughter started attending when she was 3 months and I feel it has helped immensely with her development. The teachers are have been extremely accommodating when it comes to communicating and informing my wife and I on her day both ups and downs. If you are looking for a daycare I highly recommend scheduling a tour with them.

Little Angels has been a partner with our family helping with our girls . There is a sense of community and family, our daughters love it. We have appreciated how flexible they've been with our daughter's schedule and love how much they go outside and their philosophy. Little Angels has helped instill confidence in the girls and I could not be more thankful.

My daughter has been here since she was about 6 months old (19 months old now). The teachers are wonderful - they sincerely care for my daughter, and are committed to giving her a safe, educational, and FUN experience! The extensive access to private outdoor space is also a major plus. The staff is great a communicating with the parents, and very responsive to my questions. They are welcoming to our two-mom family, and even did cloth diapering with us! The rates are expensive, but competitive. We're thrilled to have such a great option so close by.

Little Angels feels like family to us. They work hard to give the children a safe space to learn and grow and value many of the same things that we do (outdoor play, creative play, emotional intelligence). I am thankful every day that I am leaving my children with people who care about and love them. Thank you Little Angels for doing the most important job there is!

My son had never been in any type of daycare setting before, and finding Little Angels was such a relief when we moved to southeast Michigan a year ago. The staff are wonderful with the kids, they greet children by their name and really know when they need to cuddle and have a hug. My son has been able to meet kids that are forming the foundation of his friendships to come and has made wonderful memories. The staff think about developing the children's skills for kindergarten ready and for everyday use. I am so pleased with the atmosphere and people here I cannot say enough about the staff and

I do not yet have a child in daycare, but my husband and I are in the adoption process. So we've been doing some informal "shopping" for daycares. I have known Miss Jay and many of her staff for about a year through my current job and have always been impressed by how friendly and positive everyone is. I recently attended their Open House and could see how well the staff works together. They were able to entertain and educate over 100 children and families. Plus, the building is beautiful and full of the children's artwork. You can clearly see how much Miss Jay and her staff love what they do!
