Dont even bother paying for a parking permit it's a cash grab. Our neighbors have 5 cars 3 dont have a permit and leave them parked like an abandoned car, Way to go with that one 👏 👍

While we love our apartment and the community, avoid a ground level apartment if possible. We have had non-stop issues with constant upstairs neighbors. Unfortunately management had called 3 meetings with us, 2 of which they needed to re-schedule and the 3rd the manager Moona, was late by 15min. It’s very sad and we were told, “it’s about managing expectations.” Whatever action has/hasn’t been taken, has not improved our daily living. In fact if you work from home, definitely don’t live downstairs. We have had multiple client complaints being able to hear our neighbors through the phone

Not worth the hefty price. Tweekers walking around all night. They jacked the rent up 23 percent with a year lease. This place is too close to the freeway to be this high. It's a frikn house payment.

Whos smart idea was it to put building number so high up that they are covered by trees. How the hell is a delivery person supposed to find the apartment they're looking for. Major fail!!!

I have lived at mission hills for 3 years now and don’t plan on moving anytime soon. Fraela and Lilly have been absolutely amazing and have made living here so easy! Great location, great community, great place to live. The staff and how they treat their residents is a huge reason why we love this place and are staying.

I've lived in a one bedroom loft for over a year & I really love living here. Despite COVID restrictions (no pool or clubhouse 😢), it's been a beautiful place to walk my dog, relax on my patio & work from home. The landscapers do a great job (yes sometimes I have to close the windows if I'm on a call & they're working but that's not a big deal & they never start too early) and management and maintenance are always quick to respond by phone or email. You can definitely hear everything your neighbors do, so I'm glad I lucked out with some good ones. All around super happy I found this place.

Prices are high, i expected a good environment. However they have people sleeping in cars, trashing the place up and ignore it.. yet i set down my tiny 9 week old puppy to potty and the manager starts telling me she has to be on a leash, i told her a leash won't fit.. she didn't care .. instead of listening and understanding i was right there and only set her down to potty she asked "what is your apartment number".. rude, not understanding the situation.. needless to say I will be looking forward to exiting this place

If I could give Mission Hills zero stars, I would. Not only for their poor customer service, but for calling themselves luxury apartments with appliances 10+ years old that are so loud you can't relax in your own apartment with them running. Good luck getting them on the phone or getting a returned phone call within a week, email is also hit or miss. 1 parking spot per unit, regardless of how many rooms you have? Better hope you only have 1 car/get home before 5 pm otherwise you're walking.
Don't even get me started on the groundskeepers blowing leaves at 7 am or the nit-picky management leaving

I see that the manager commented below... I am not a current resident ans Tessa is not my real name, I was afraid If I used my real name you would retaliate as you have done before. Don't act like you don't know what I am talking about, yourself included has talked to me like crap over the phone and told me I was lying about McKinley (the office lady) treating me incredibly rude! You're probably at this job because you never amounted to anything else in life and feel so insecure that you want to make everyone else's life miserable.

We loved living here. We rented a one bedroom ADA apartment in the AP building. The parking was our only complaint, as there needs to be more spaces available. Otherwise the community was very friendly, ALL the staff were awesome, (office, maintenance, and security) and the grounds were well taken care of. Most holidays the office also conducts games or celebrations such as a Santa visit, an Easter Egg hunt, etc.

The apartments themselves and the grounds are really nice. Love having AC/Heat, a washer and dryer in unit, and the vaulted ceilings.
"Gated community" is a bit of a stretch. Yes there is a gate but its always open and when it does close, the security will let you in without questions. Not really a gated community.
When my husband and I renewed our lease, the new owners changed rules and are infringing on our constitutional rights. We can not have firearms in OUR HOME to protect ourselves. We are hunters and now have to store our hunting supplies outside of OUR HOME that we pay over $1500 to

This is a great place to live! Out of all the apartments I've lived in this is by far the cleanest and most friendly. I have no complaints from the move in process to the move out. Maintenance was great, I only had to use them a few times but they were always timely. The girls at the front desk are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. We would of loved to stay here longer but had to transfer for school. I would definitely recommend living here.

My husband and I were out here housesitting in the PNW to see if we wanted to live here permanently. My husband had a massive stroke and was in the hospital for three months. After he left the hospital we lived in a hotel for one and one half years. I did not know this area and certainly did not know the neighborhoods. So after passing Mission Hills Apartments many times I told my husband I wanted to check into living here. That was in 2014! It was so beautifully landscaped with roomy apartments. And so close to the hospital and doctors my husband needed and continues to need. Management

First off, management was amazing. BUT, they stole our deposit for the most ridiculous of things. If you move in here, write on the paper that there are black light stains everywhere on the carpet!! We moved into a soaking wet carpet, and when we moved out, we had it professionally cleaned as well. The day we checked out, the inspector lady came in with a stick to detect for wetness, and used a black light on the carpet? We never knew to do this on our move in inspections to write the carpet was wet or look for black lights stains??? Took our entire deposit of $400!!.... the place was spotless

I don't live at Mission Hills but I wanted to review my experience with McKinley who works in the office at Mission Hills. She did my tour and all of the follow up questions/paperwork. She has been incredibly helpful, patient and sincere. The property is beautiful too. Great experience overall.

We enjoyed living here, the rent was inexpensive considering we had moved from over priced California. The units are very spacious and we loved having central heat and AC. Parking was not an issue for us. They offered great ammenties although we never used them it was nice to know they were there. Our building was very quiet our neighbors kept to themselves. The office staff were great, we liked being close to I-5 and minutes from downtown Vancouver, PDX and Camas.
Our only issue was with a new lease policy pertaining to firearms. Overall it was a nice place to live.

These apartments are amazing!! They truly care about their tenants and go above and beyond to show it! I would highly recommend living in this community. I have been here over 2 years and have zero complaints. The grounds are well kept and the apartments are very secure. Best in Vancouver for sure!!

I loved living here for the first 2 years and then it all went down hill. This is largely due to the office staff. We were having issues with our neighbors below us having 4 animals (we are only allowed 2) and one of the 4 was a new puppy that barked for hours at a time. It was not possible to drown out the sound. We had already been ignoring their smaller dogs constant barking for a year but we had enough once they started breaking their lease. We wanted a reasonable and calm solution so we wouldn't be uncomfortable in our apartment.

I informed the office of the problem. I told them about

Oh Mission Hills. We were pretty excited to move in here. We had been in portland for years and hoped this would be a good quite peaceful place to live..

We have been here 3 months and are breaking our lease and moving out. Here is why:

Our neighbors are very very very loud. They party all the time. Until all hours of the night. 2 nights ago it was "Salt N Peppa". Few nights ago they had a karoeke party. The constantly blast music and the whole building constantly smells like pot. They smoke right in front of the door, and are generally obnoxious. They even park right in our

After months of looking at apartments (our current lease ending 5/31/15) my boyfriend and I decided and fell in love with Mission Hills. We were told from DAY ONE that they would have a place for us by June. We had come in some point after our initial tour to check in and maybe submit some type of paperwork but we're told unless they had an available unit, they couldn't accept anything (fine, understandable). I was told they accepted 30 day notices up until the 10th of the month and as SOON as they had anything, they would let us know. Monday May 11th at 5:57pm Justin called me to let

I too lived at Mission Hills for 3.6 years. It was nice. But they charged us $120.00 for filling holes. They called them damage but as we know it was untrue and they would not reverse charges because they used an outside vendor. I know this is a lie and it is disappointing to be scammed by an apartment so they can keep your deposit. Be very careful and take lots of pictures before and after. I would not refer anyone after that crap.

We have been here for a year and plan to stay for another! The apartments are very nice and clean, we even broke a a drawer and the blinds the first week we moved in and they fixed them both the same day each time, that is rare

- we feel save all the time
- we have paid late and they understand
- the gym is always empty (you get to control the tv)
- they have Sunday brunch

Strongly recommend

I give this place one star for its curb appeal. Other than that, it's a nightmare. We read all the negative reviews but tried to tell ourselves "those must be the bad tenants whining.." Then, my fiancé straight forward asked the leasing agent for her side of the story and why nearly ALL of the complaints were specifically about the MANAGEMENT. She said "those were from disgruntled tenants when management was bad, but I'm here now, and I ASSURE you, things are different with me in charge"
We agreed to sign the contract on the LAST and ONLY available unit (all the other
