My name is Eamon Spearman. I founded Golden Fire Acupuncture because I believe that good health is the most important factor in determining the quality of life. I have been practicing acupuncture since 2010 and still am completely in awe of the philosophy and beauty of this medicine! I attended the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA) and received my Master's of Science degree in Acupuncture.
Often there is a slight electrical sensation when the needle first enters the body. Some people describe the feeling as a slight "pricking" sensation, a gentle throbbing, a feeling of heaviness or a rushing of energy. It's nothing like getting a shot at the doctor's office. Acupuncture needles are super thin and most patients describe only mild sensations when being needled.
These treatments may include needles or other modalities such as cold red-light laser, Quartz Piezo stimulator, E-Stim or gua sha. These treatments require more frequent visits, but have proven results. Patient will receive an auricular (ear) needle treatment and will be sent home with attached ear seeds that help reduce cravings.
