Price, price, price. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life for $173. It's a $39 dollar hotel plus taxes but for some inexplicable reason they're charging $173 a night (including taxes). That's right. A rundown motel from 50+ years ago for Manhattan prices. And yes, I have stayed in Manhattan for less. Also, every other city in America. Unbelievable.

For the price, it's definitely manageable. Only real down side was the sound of everything outside the room can be heard inside the room. Plus the a/c heater combo is extremely loud by itself. So, there really is no peace and quiet. The beds are very worn in. The wife and I kept meeting in the middle as the mattress was "v" shaped. And the blinds to nothing to keep the light out so don't expect to sleep in (even if you could with the noise of outside). Overall, we would like to be in a quiet room and thus will not be returning.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, that's where the good ended. The refrigerator didn't work so our food spoiled. The power kept shutting off and the host had to keep resetting the circuit breaker. There weren't microwaves in the rooms, instead they had one plugged in outside by the ice machine for shared use. The cleaning staff, were unfriendly and rude if you asked for anything. We booked the room for 4 nights but as soon as our last paid for event was over we decided to leave.

The price was great for a kind bed. We paid $146 for 2 nights, for reference. We said there was 2 people and we got 1 coffee cup (and one key card). The bathroom had multiple spiders with spider webs on the window and looked liked it was cleaned a week or so ago and left alone. The towels had hairs on them as well as the sheets. There's no microwave but there's a fridge (?). I had to fix the drain so it was open and would drain.... Then the faucet had to be put just right to be off instead of on. Good thing we just slept there after visiting the tourist sites for a day.

Folks need to understand that when you stay at an establishment, built back prior to the 1970’s (especially a stand-alone Motel), there is only so much that you can expect. For the price ($60-$90) it’s not bad. It was clean, it was comfortable enough for a one night stay to rest, sleep and then get back to sight seeing. The little town of William’s where this place sits (right in the middle of) makes this place worth it.
