Part of the Quivira Road Animal Clinic family since 1996, Jessie spent evenings, weekends and summers during her teenage and college years as a caretaker and veterinary assistant to the clinic's founder, Dr. Fry.She attended Kansas State University for undergraduate work and veterinary school and moved to South Florida shortly after graduation.

My dog cut the inside of her ear on something at Shawnee mission dog park. She was bleeding quite a bit. I tried to take her here and they wouldn't take her because we didn't have an appointment lol. I didn't see any other customers being helped either. They didn't look too busy to take a bleeding dog. I have been bringing her here for the last 2 years and won't be coming back. Called marketplace animal hospital off of College Blvd in Lenexa and they took her right away. Looks like I have a new vet.

My little dog and I stopped by for a simple nail trim, and it was a very good experience. The counter staff was friendly and they were very sweet to my dog. The lady who cut Petri's nails was very thorough, and very sweet with him, even though he was terrified, because he always is. We will be back! Also nine dollars for a nail trim is a very good price.

I have just previously moved to the Shawnee area from out of state. I hadn't even began looking for new veterinarians yet, when my dog became sick and needed immediate attention. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to get my dog in for a morning appointment. Unfortunately, I work in Lawrence and was worried about missing too much work. The friendly staff offered to let my dog stay for the day so they can monitor her. Seriously does not get better than that! I was very thankful of the staff and Dr. Fry was very detailed and compassionate when he called to discuss her treatment

Dr Fry is great. I have used him a few times when I needed immediate pet care for my cats. He seems to care more about animals then most veterinarians do he seems to be in practice because of his love for animals and not just to make a living.I recently had to take my cat to the vet and they are unable to help them which meant I had to take him to blue pearl. The vets there are very nice but I wish I would have taken a second to breathe and went ahead and made an appointment with Dr. Fry to have my cat treated. I only panicked because when I called they are wanting to make an appointment. Had

Took my cat here after receiving multiple recommendations from friends (many of whom are veterinary students). Dr. Frye is great and the staff at the front make you feel very welcome. It was very easy to make an appointment to be seen, and they were very efficient in making sure my old vet had sent them the proper paperwork and records on file. Hopefully my cat won't have to go to the vet again soon, but if he does I know he's in great hands.
