I was treated very poorly by a staff member who didn't want to service me when I followed the instructions given to me by another employee. I wouldn't trust them to do you right.

NO HUMANS ALLOWED, PERIOD! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
First visit would rate a 5... So tried a second appointment...
Doesn't matter that my dog had a grand mal seizure at the Humane Society two weeks ago and the attending vet says most likely stress-induced and that an owner should be present at all exams, (barely got the "my dog had a grand mal seizure" out when got the 'no humans allowed' response). I guess the 'concern for my pet's well-being' is because they were willing to give me a number for a mobile vet.
Since the visit to the Humane Society, my dog has kept me in sight. Human hospitals are allowing

I met these lovely people in one of the most painful moments in my life. I was at work when my Ms. Lady cat got hit by a car. My poor sister in law brought her to Parkway Animal Hospital in a panic because she was hurt so badly. When I arrived, I was an emotional mess but everyone there was so kind. They were all very professional as well as full of information and choices for me. I ended up having to put my beautiful girl down but the staff was so compassionate. They did everything they possibly could to make her as comfortable as possible. They even sent my family a signed card with her paw print

By far the best around. The staff are awesome! I wish I would have found this clinic when I first moved to KC but glad we finally did. Knowledgeable, very obviously caring, and the doctors and techs take their time to really have a conversation about history, visits, issues, and treatments.

I was so happy with my first experience here. The vet was incredibly helpful, and took the time to get to know my cat and explain several recommendations, even outside of the primary reason for the visit. They are also priced better than several other local vets!

Got my cat in on short notice, and were so great with her! She's terrified and not easy to deal with but they gave Mittens lots of love and took their time going over all of her issues. Very reasonably priced, great vets, great staff...love loved this place & their care.

Let me start by saying my dogs are my children, they are apart of our family. We have tried many different vets and none of them have made us happy. I had called Friday morning to see if they had any time to get us in for two nails and they got us in that afternoon. Every other vet we had tried told us our dogs were aggressive and needed tied down and muzzled to get their nails trimmed. This was not the case here; our dogs were more than willing to just lay on the floor, tails wagging and get their nails trimmed. When my old vet faxed over their records one of the techs noticed our dog Gunner was

Dr. Linda Kalmar's bedside manor is horrible.... Our first visit with her, she sent our dog home with a doll in his stomach.. We took him in because he didn't feel well. She didn't take x-rays just sent him home with medicine.. Later that night he had to be taken to the animal hospital, they took x-rays found and removed the doll...

This place is average as long as you only need shots, nail trimmings etc...

Where do I even start? This is the best vet we've ever been to. I take all 3 of my dogs here. My youngest pup, Potatoe was diagnosed with mange at an early age. So he spent a lot of time with Dr Kalmar. She treats my dogs like they are her own. Jo & Heather are at the front desk, and are always so kind! They are always willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. I recommend Parkway Animal Hospital to anyone who has a pet that they love! Dr Kalmar and her help will make sure to take extra special care of your fur babies!!

I have been taking my dogs to Parkway Animal Hospital since they opened. I had tried several other clinics before them and they now have a customer for life. Friendly, clean, knowledgeable staff, just a great place to take your pets.

I discovered this place a few years ago when my dog needed a check up and was surprised how affordable their prices were and they were friendly and small and take a interest in getting to know the clients and their pets. I've always been very impressed with this place and they let you stop by and get treats for your dog on the way to the dog park just to make it more familiar for your dog. My only complaint is I was not made aware of an issue that ended up costing me more money and it could have been avoided if they had informed me, but that has only happened once. Would have been nice to
